Had it at 2pm, nothing all day. About 1am felt like shit - so had an unsettled night's sleep. Woke this morning, sore arm, but generally OK.

Sure if you are convinced that you have a good level of platelets and no clotting disorder then there is no concern - however those deaths with the knowledge now available can be avoided. Test for platelet count and clotting gene and if they are both ok there is no issue with the AZ vaccine... for people who have either of those isssues specifically the platelet problem where the vaccination is proving fatal then use a different vaccine.

You really shouldn't read the list of side effects from taking day-to-day medicine if you're paranoid by 4 in 1 million (or whatever the incidence is) vs something that works against a virus with a ~3% chance of killing you.

So you would test everyone? Adding 10-15 mins or whatever to each appointment? I understand you have not had a jab so have no experience of the amount of people getting pushed through the vaccine production line as it were.

When I had mine they had about 5 rooms, in, jab, out, it took less than 5 minutes, add another 15 mins to that and suddenly you just aren't vaccinating very quickly at all. We just want this nightmare to end and if 4 in a million get a blood clot then I am happy with that, most drugs and treatments for anything have a certain risk, even every day painkillers.

Agreed but if we look at the numbers 4 in 1 million people dying vs 30,000 in a million dying (roughly 3% mortality) plus all the horrible long term shit some survivors are experiencing, damage to economies, mental health, just wanting to get this shit behind us etc.

People need to get jabbed, and quickly.

Enligt Tanja Erichsen går det inte att peka ut kvinnor under 60 år som en speciell riskgrupp för att få den sällsynta koagulationsrubbningen av vaccinet. Där behövs mer data.

Well according to EMA the rate across the EU and UK is similar but extremely rare.. Not as high as that number. Total as of 4 April was 169 cases of CVST and 53 cases of splanchnic vein thrombosis were reported out of 34mill people vaccinated.

Like everyone including me governments in Europe countries want their populous vaccinated as soon as possible... there are plenty of vaccinations available now so do you not think if they really believed that it was safe that they would be rolling it out regardless? Denmark are going so far as to not even delvier the vaccine to the over 60s..... For Denmark who have suffered few deaths from CV19 the decision is completely different than that of the UK where deaths have been amongst the highest in Europe. As for the EMA, it has changed its view several times in the process ... they have not as yet commented yet on the Danish study.

Currently they are recommending not flying at all.... as for long haul that is a personal choice, along with smoking and taking the pill. A necessary vaccnation not so much in my view.

They are not recommending that people do not fly at all due to the very real risk of blood clots...the reason people are not flying is that we need to stop it transmitting country to country. The risk of blood clots is apparently acceptable for going on holibobs. The risk of dying from Covid is very real and the longer people fuck about the higher that risk becomes.

And that is just daft anyway. People choosing to take the pill vs people choosing to not get covid (or at least reducing the chance of infection and the severity)

If it is necessary (its critical) then take the fucking thing, Jesus, what sort of bullshit is your media feeding you?.

oO well then... Sorry I will not take an injection that could give me clots - for the same reason as I stopped taking the pill over 20 years ago, gave up smoking and do not fly long haul.. I will have an injection when I am able but it won’t be J&J or AZ - well not in this country
