is there any way to choose wich Update server / Login server u connect to? i know it usually says >trying a different update/login server< if theres a problem, perhaps by changing a line in update.dat maybe? but now we cant even get to that stage.. in any case FIX IT

i have got this problem to but only on 1 of my pc's i am a TDC customer and the pc thats running danish windows XP freezes when trying to connect to the update server and then comes with the error 201. but the pc running windows xp ensglih version wich is the only difference on the 2 pc's connect fine to the update server and to the game servers.

these 2 pc's are on the same connection going througe a switch. so its not the connections ive been working on it all day and i simply cannot find out what this could be.

tbh its something wrong with some switch in france, dunno if its goas or whose ever it is that refuses random connection, i dont know if this is even possible but thats my theory

one other difference is that i have dynamic ip's so so the 2 pcs dont have the same ip even thoug they are on the same connection. maybe someone screwed up and its randomly blocking ips for some reason ? o_o

Same here, cannot connect to excal nor prydwen, but no problems with camlann, avalon etc etc.

Still think you made a good job with clustering? Never had this many problems pre cluster, this is just a freaking joke tbh .. sigh

just been on the phone with the main danish internet supplyer (Teledanmark) and they insist the problem is to be found on french soil. they are not blocking traffic to or from france.

as u can see, from alter.net the packets were supposed to reach opentransit.net but it didnt happen yesterday.
today my isp dished alter.net completly and now is using level3.net to reach opentransit.

so, really can't tell if it was alter.net fault or opentransit.net fault.

then couple of hours later, my own isp gone skyhigh and i had 30-70% packet loss at every destination except my own gateway and i gave up my attempts to play daoc for the rest of the day.
