Connection problems

Anyone at GoA know what the problem might be? It seems noone really knows whats wrong, and many ppl can still log in game ( people from Denmark aswell ).

Some info would be nice if possible.

i tried logging in at 9 before i went out couldnt log on and i get home cant log on still and called my friend he couldnt log on either, and this is from denmark
i reportet it via right now, but goa is prolly not doing anything caus its weekend :/

pretty much everytime i think of how bad they are running the game i bet this wouldnt happen if i were playing us servers, atleast they would get a notification about having a trouble we just dont get shit

The servers are up and are reachable. From initial reports it looks as though TeleDK is not routing to us so if you are a customer of theirs or your ISP routes through their network then you may not be able to connect. If you are a TeleDK customer you should contact them as soon as possible to get it sorted.

Can not be the case, many customers from many different geographical locations and isp's are having problems.

Can only speak for myself but I route fine up until a router with IP: 193.252.122.14. (Owned by Wanadoo according to RIPE)

There I get shafted, looks to me like its not our problem its yours or Wanadoo.

there's a difference between "unable to connect" and the bouts of lag that people are experiencing.

First is teleDK and it stops you playing _completely_

second is opentransit and it's just annoying - it affects a lot more of the daocing public.

Heck, telewest dropped my connection a few months back - I'm going to scream at RightNow!

Actually no Flimo there are people not using TeleDK that get 201 atm aswell. (Me for one)
Its not lag, so used to it so dont bother complaining about it anymore.

yeah you said thanks to requiel for responding so I tried not to be too mean

but erm you might wanna get some help with your anger issues - it's a game you can't play for a few hours. No reason to go screaming mental at someone on a support desk who can't actually personally fix your problem (and is probably trying to resist the temptation to press the "send round engineer to accidentally cut cable" button after all the abuse.)

i just tryd a tracert on pryd server and spot 12 timeout and after wanadoo.opentransit i have about 60+ms so someting is wrong...from my net to paris i have 3-7 ms all the way until i start hitting paris connection...so someting is wrong...and i conect from sweden

i made it through once, but i ld'ed during RR cause of server lagg spikes, but i rly cant see how teledk (teledanmark) can be the problem, cause ive got no problems connecting to Daoc offical sites ect. the ping plot fails AFTER opentransit paris. thats past all the danish routing.

Ill agree on that my tracert stops after the 193.252.122.14 ip

so i cant see what this have with our ISP's to do.

think it is Wanadoo's Network with GOA there is Fucked..

Move hosting to Sweden or something imo or any other place that has an acceptable infrastructure.
If I didnt know better I would think the servers are standing in Zimbabwe or something.

Did Mythic sign a life contract with GoA/French server hosting? how hard can it be to find a more stable contracter... cmon french servers are having massive Spike laggs for the past 2 weeks, and now this BS, not to mention all the other downtime problems we had in the past, mythic are loosing more money on giving ppl "free" account days to make up for downtime than they would finding a new server company. or am i just ignorant / stupid? :eek2:

right me and my friend "tinyone" both live in denmark, in fact the same town, and we both use TDC.

now then, since 12:00 cet,

- I have had no problems connecting to any sever what so ever,

- He Cannot connect to excal or prydwen, however he connects fine to all the remaining servers, camlen, avalon, ect...

now thats really odd if it's TDC's network
