And I get lag "sometimes" too, not 24/7

Castus said:Hi m8 i`d be interested to know how and why your not getting any lag at all.So could you tell me where your playing from, what net conn you have, system spec, resolution you play at and time sof day you play mainly plz?
When Im helping guildies with mls, artifacts and such I don't experience more lag than in the RvR zone ^^Chronictank said:lag is in toa zones where most pve'rs predominantly remain, not much rvr to be had in toa
Yeke said:just some sort of token gesture to show that they care and aknowledge our difficulties and frustraitions.
havent they been looking into this lag thing long enough for ppl to start demanding some action?Tsabo said:In a similar way GOA/Mythic have told us they know that there have been lag problems and they are looking into it.
Tsabo.
Tilda said:My mod status as absolutly nothing to do with my post or thread, I am, after all allowed to post as a normal human being too. If you look through Ironhearts posting history you'll see he has a past of posting rather comical (imo) threads. Just because I chose to say this, rather than someone else makes no difference.
If you have a problem with my style of moderating, PM me and we can talk about it.

but it still means youre time is spread between rvr and pve, compared to someone whos time is 100% pve. The difference between now and before is that most people have fled from toa because of the lag, less people in zone = less lag. I ran ml4 3-4 times and near enuff ground toa to a halt every time to the point where the GM himself ld:Zebolt said:When Im helping guildies with mls, artifacts and such I don't experience more lag than in the RvR zone ^^
Ballard said:Sorry your majesty. But that IS the reason i have no lag. Everyone i play the game with is from different countries, have different computers etc and they have little or no lag or if they do it is because they are runnning the game on laptops with the computing power of a C64.

You will probably note nothing spectacular here. That is because it has nothing to do with my spec etc and everything to do with what realm I play.
Ormorof said:erm, posting here isnt really going to solve anything is it?
again using the TV example:
your TV services go down (or eastenders is shown more often), do you:
a) contact customer service
or
b) run out in the street shouting that your TV isnt working and you want your money back.......
Another difference is that the PvE part of DAoC as I understand has only been better with time and the RvR part are getting worse and worse. So I don't think PvE ppl are entitled to whine <spot the sarcasm>Chronictank said:but it still means youre time is spread between rvr and pve, compared to someone whos time is 100% pve. Red HATred said:Now my question:
Who thinks that GOA or Mythic should at LEAST have the decency off refunding a part of our monthly payed cash because the problems are on their side..; not ours...
Or that they should at LEAST give 1/3 of the time given by that ammount of cash in free gaming time to compensate the problems...
Kaod said:Since this seems to be the only place to find out from official sources what is REALLY going on, I would like a GOA representative to tell me if we are due ANY free time at all for the poor standard of service over the past weeks, and if not, why not.
Requiel said:If that happens it will be announced on the official site and not here. Any decision like that will be taken way over my head and as such I can't and won't speculate on it.
Kaod said:Fair enough I understand that.
I therefore ask that you ask the question of those senior people, so that they give an answer one way or another and THAT is put on the official site.
Kaod said:Or even an official response or senior GOA acknowledgement to the fact that the player base is asking the question as I said in a previous post.
I'd really like to know where we stand on this, as no response is sometimes worse than a negative one.
Requiel said:I've passed it on.
For the record I always pass on the significant concerns of the community. It's a two way thing, I tell you things and I tell my boss things.

Heaven forbid customers who´re excercising their customer rights and express that they´re not satisfied, eh?
