C'mon Toht, I wasn't remotely suggesting you were gay, I was simply digging that you support sexual freedom and get a bit touchy about it.
Which you have.
Anyway your boyfriends left his handbag at my flat.

Knuckle-draggers sending death threats to Sue Perkins on Twitter. What the fuck is wrong with these people?

Wishing someone dead is not the same as threatening to kill them. I wish the news outlets would stop with this bullshit.

If that's the case why can't we tell people on this forum to foad?

You can't tell people here to foad because Deebs says you can't. What relationship that rule has to the tendency of media outlets to create faux outrage is beyond me. I can't imagine how many neurons misfired when your brain created that particular thought.

You condone or say it's not too bad for someone .. A stranger to threaten someone with death and give details of that death. For a rumour that isn't true.

I disagree. And wonder why you stay by the rules of fh if you think it's ok to do that. I wonder what condescending neutrons misfired in your simple bike addled brain not to grasp that concept. Oh and I am honoured you decided to come out of your block to respond.

Why do you think it's sociably acceptable to wish death on anyone. If there is complete freedom of speech I agree. But there isn't. So you have to deal with what society deems acceptable.

I do no such thing. Please improve your English, particularly its comprehension.

You said wishing someone dead is not the same as killing them. So condoning that phrase. Then you said I wish the news outlets would stop with this. Minus he profanity. From what I see none of the news outlets wished her dead.

It's the general populous who has wished her dead. Or a section of it.

And why won't you have a discussion about something without resorting to degradation and put downs? Do I threaten your masculinity because I have a higher IQ ? Or you just feel inadequate and can't have a debate or conversation without feeling you must enforce your superiority?

It's the same with Scouse. If ever you get challenged you denigrate the person who is doing it rather than talking about it.

He didn't though. He said they're not the same, that's it.

Have to struggle with these kind of "But you said" comments all the time because people cherrypick comments and ignore the oh so beautiful context :p

Having seen Frankie live in Wolverhampton a couple of years back, and heard some of the stuff he can make a joke out of (Michael Jacksons Children's Hospital anyone?), he really isn't in a position to talk. Don't get me wrong I was laughing so much it hurt, but he was so far over the line in terms of taste and decency at times, you genuinely felt uncomfortable watching him.

Funny guy, and brilliant at dealing with hecklers, but has zero business taking the moral high ground over offending people.

Yes, Michael Jacksons Children's Hospital was rather grim.

Hmm, yeah, it's quite interesting really.

Issue is though, Clarkson is a presenter, Boyle is a comedian, they have different roles in society, you wouldn't let your kid watch Top Gear, and then expect Boyle standard jokes on there.

Equally, you wouldn't expect Boyle to do a show and have factual information about stuff.

Clarkson offended the professionally offended, Boyle offended everyone at some stage....

Meh, Boyle can offend more though, he's allowed to, imagine a politician saying the stuff Clarkson says, it's kinda all relative.

Boyle isn't really on a high horse, he's more just stating a point that Clarkson shouldn't have been saying stuff on what he was presenting.

I thought that Frankie Boyle clip was amusing satire when I first saw it, especially given the 'poshing up' of his accent.
