I could be wrong, but I would guess that those who reported would be those who dont read this forum often, if at all and dont understand the fh politics made here associated with daoc.

There are still many players who play the game by the box (I'd like to think i was one of them but I still read this forum often). A guild who lowers a relic keep to level1 in the hope the enemy will take it and retreive the relic is quite obviously greifing in their eyes, I would also assume there would be several conversations recorded to provide evidence that it wasnt just a "o sorry we didnt realise the keep was level1". I would assume players would have pmed members of TT and asked them to release the keep or raise its level and they refused.

Try and look at it from goas perspective.

It was a harsh punishment, however, what use would the CoC be if they didnt stick to it?

Look at it from those that dont read this forum, many of them may quit the game if goa took no action against a guild going against the spirit of the game which is clearly defined as punishable in the CoC. It goes both ways

Where was the GM when LA released/lowered Bolg when the Albs were attacking ages ago so we could have Irvr, surely that was against the sprirt, and what about when we stole the alb strength relic and found a guild had it held in ailine at lvl 1! - still no GM's about then.

You released the keep to Tedious Ten on the basis that it was going to be downgraded and thereby facilitate an enemy retake. Your actions were clearly against the spirit of the game and the best interests of your realm.

Every time a tower or keep is released you "facilitate an enemy retake". Same if you downgrade it.

So basically everyone who has been in a group that downgraded a keep or tower should get ban?

its your keep you have the ability to release it within the game control. How this effects the RVR in term of the "spirit of the game" is completly subjective.

For everyone here, this action to release a keep and loose a relic which actually has a negative impact on your RVR performance. Is being done purly to maintain the concept of "good spirit". Its making a statement that you dont support all the PVE Relic raids as they are destroying any concept of a context to the end game.

GOA have got this so very very wrong. This for me epitomises everything thats bad about his game and everything thats good about it. TT do something for the good of the server and the whole community base. And get banned for it... and the icing on the cake is its defintly not against the CoC.

No different to not adding on someone while a realm mate dies.

I havent logged in since the AC raid, but would i be right in saying that actually setting the keep to level 1 infact stimulated rvr more than if it had been set at level 10 (not withstanding people leaving the server)?
