OK, right, Nick made the show. But the fact is that it was not the programme producers who found all this stuff out about Nick, it was the other members of the house. And how could they live for another week with some tosser who is sneaking around behind their backs? I know that I for one would kick his fucking teeth in by the end of the day. How could they live with him till next Thursday? Or, better question, how could he live with them? I'm sure that, in actual fact, Big Brother's producers would love to keep Nick in the house, but to avoid some extreme confrontations (that we would all like to see) the programme's producers were forced to evict the guy, violated rules or not.
It's a shame, but remember that the point of the programme is not actually to eliminate the other contestants, but to survive to the end.

They will to, thats the amusing thing. I mean who in the hell is going to want to watch the rest of them fawn over eachother.. "no I'll go".. "no I insist, I'll go".. blah blah. I can think of better ways to spend my time than listening to the Brothers Dense harp on about sexual techniques, Mel flirt with anything with a pulse (is this a lot different that what Nick did?) and Darren and Anna fighting over who has the last teabag.
Fact is: love him or loathe him - Nick made the show. Were it not for the fact that his schemes and plots grew ever more twisted and sneaky I would've turned off a long time ago. He says about being in the TA (Terretorial Army) for 3 years and gets the worst time in the obstacle course task. And they still thought he was a paragon of virtue. Hilarious.
Incidentally Nick will now go on to make far more money from various publicity covers (no doubt from the same tabloids that have been slateing him from Day 1) than he would ever have won had he been the last person remaining in the Big Brother household.
The only sad aspect of this whole affair is it is a damning inditement of the general public as a whole. Wise up - Big Brother is a gameshow - the object of the game is to be the last person remaining in the household, by fair means or foul. This isn't Castaways 2000 we're talking about here - and no amount of group-fawning is going to detract from the fact that only one person can win the game.
Besides, you gotta give Nick at least some credit for having the balls to sit at that table for 30 minutes and get a complete grilling, and still try to blag his way out of it.
well presumably when all these ppl applied to take part in the programme, they wanted to win the £70,000, or at least get some fame and forture from the television aspect. If i'd been on there i'd definitely be trying to win, rather than just taking each day as it comes in a normal living fashion. I just think Nick went about it the wrong way....
My approach would have been to just be as nice as possible to every1, kinda like Anna (whether this is her natural character or a more sinister ploy only she can know). She comes accross as being very pleasant, and doesnt seem to irritate any members of the group.
When Tom was nominated last week I was rather suprised, as I would have thought his seemingly introverted nature would keep him in until some of the more outspoken characters had left (caroline, craig, nichola etc)
TBH i dunno wtf Nick was playing out, even if he had managed to continue fooling his housemates until the final week, surely he would have been voted out in the final vote against whoever he was up against by the public, who had seen his real side.
Yeah but he's handled it all wrong. He tried the old 'I was mis-understood, I wasn't trying to influence people, was just sharing my dreams' when he should have just said - yeah fair cop you got me, I was trying to win the game, ah well busted. People would have loads more respect (well I would anyway) for this, and you can't really argue against trying to win the game that way.
I kind of felt sorry for him. His sole aim was to win the money, but he went OTT and got caught.
When he was in the diary room he was asked why he did it. One of the replies " ... It's only a game ... " wound me up :|
<rant>That kind of attuide is why we have cheating in every game on the planet. Everyone in the house + watching the show were affected by his cheating and it pissed them off. The same goes for cheating online. When you cheat you annoy others. </rant>
Question is now, where will nick go? He's probably ruined his life
Don't belive for a moment that everything you watch on TV is all there is. Mrs Luap watches this all day on the net and scheming and whispering that goes on is not shown in the highlights. Some say Big Bro is at fault for not jumping on Nicks wicked ways when he first started orchestrating the voting. IMHO, Nick is an Actor who was planted in the group to stir things up. He lied in week 1 about some gf of his and then owned up a week later. He set the scene for himself as a "character". The blokes an actor and a good one at that. C4 planted him there and in 10 years time there will be a 'Where are they now' program and nick will be doing Shakespeare in the Caymen Islands.
Nick rocked the rest of them are pussies and have u noticed Craig has actually "shrunk", just goes to show once u stop taking the steroids u start to fall apart.
Big Brother is now a joke, bring back Nick u cunt0rs.

I can't see why - there were never any defined boundaries about "standards of play" in Big Brother as there is with Quake, etc - if thats the parallel you're drawing.
Nick did cheat, but only in so much that he used a pen and paper (ooooh) to write down his nominations, and accost various house members in an attempt to influence their votes. That was against the rules certainly - but I personally think that Channel 4/Big Brother bosses should've nipped that in the bud before the inevitable happened. They (Big Brother) claimed that they were completely oblivious to him (Nick) attempting to influence other housemembers votes.. if that is true, they clearly haven't been watching the same show as the rest of us - since for all his psychological tricks, Nick wasn't very adept at hiding the fact he was trying to influence people - hell anyone who watched the show could see what he was up to. That said, the inevitable showdown was as much Channel 4/BB's fault as it was Nick's, for letting it run for so long without putting a stop to it.
In a nutshell, they willingly let Nick dig his own BigBrother grave before their (and our) very eyes since not only did it provide riveting television (and ratings) - but they always had the Ace of Spades (i.e. the ability to disqualify him at any point for his actions) available should things get out of hand (as they did, and would inevitably have done at some point).
At the end of the day Nick made a rod for his own back by being so blatently obvious in his trickery. Other housemembers like Mel and Anna are clearly "playing the game" just as sneakily as Nick ever did, Mel with her flirtations with everyone and sundry, and Anna with her complete impartiality - the only difference is they're a great deal more subtle about it.
