Just a note for you downloading this now...

Didn't find any info on it on their site - but don't change IP while downloading...

If you cancel download and want to start to download on a faster connection, it will inform you that the download is complete - and you can't continue the DL.

Got the message from support within a few mins after I asked why it said it was completed.

But my key seems OK anyhow

If you want to save download time you could make a copy of your ToA folder open the update.dat and change ToA to catacombs on both lines then run the patcher, will be a ~900mb download then.

Is it an .exe patcher that you download?

I mean you have to be able to burn on it on dvd incase of HD format

yeah the link in the mail takes you to a page that seems to just have a load of avaliable downloads, you click on catacombs and it asks you to download a file download manager (tiny program) when you run it ,it asks for e-mail /password you gave and order number (in e-mail) then dl starts.

If you just want to DL 880mb patch, go to update.dat in your toa folder, open with notepad, you get to lines with

patch.mythic.blabla/blabla/blabla/atlantis/blabla.babda

The importent thing is where atlantis is, simply change to catacombs in both lines, start toa.exe or daoc.exe, whatever it is called, run a patch of 880mb and there you go

Catacombs Client completely replaces ToA, so either overwrite or create a new folder and delete.

As an added thought, I presume TOA UIs can be used, also you might want your qbinds/keyboard configs too, so overwriting the folder, or keeping a copy of toa to copy the relevant files after might be more useful.

Excatly! if you just change update.dat you dont need to DL from DLgamer.com at all, just use the serial and if anyone was in doubt about the update.dat information, look at post #46 by Gallak
