This applies for all 3 realms btw. I'm sure many of you guys got pa'd by assassins when standing on the battlements to defend a keep, although the assassins in question are still on the other side of the wall. What sux about it, is the in 90% of the cases you can't target them at all. Now I just read the grab bag on the Herald, and this is what Sanya says about what can be considered as exploiting:
An exploit IS:
- hiding inside geometry where you cannot be hit (rocks, trees, bridges, etc.)
- standing on surfaces where you cannot be hit (some rooftops, rocks, etc.)
- using geometry and/or pathing errors to avoid damage (the infamous “stand on rock so the monster can’t hit you” ploy)
From what I make of this, this could definately be considered as bug exploiting, and yet I'm afraid that like 99% of the assassins around use this "technique", which is kinda sad. Or am I wrong in this?
BTW: this isn't meant as a flame at all, more of a question tbh...:
