it rarely works with dds usually out of view = failed to cast. Same with bolts, although they carry on to hit once the 4-5 seconds cast time is done. Arrows/bolts fire anywhere after they've been readied for 0.01 seconds NERF HUNTERS ;)

Aye - I wish something could be done to make Alb keeps less buggy.. move the climb point further down the wall, and take out the through-the-battlement bug and everyone is happy. I feel like an idiot dancing around the wall section while someone hits/shoots me in the back. I kinda think the wall climb sections should.. look climbable. Like the midgard one.. handy foothold stones!

Albion keeps make it just rediculous.. I mean, from a RP standpoint.. "no, I can't climb this part of the wall. I have to climb that part of the wall, which is exactly the same, but much more awkwardly placed"

it was about 2 foot of rock. But if you insist on standing in that kinda silly spot where that was the only way i could hit u then what do u expect :p

Ahhh so its cant see/target/hear/smell target , cant feel target under dress , cant feel my own arse with two hands.. who cares you know what I mean..It's the bloody msg you get when you cant target someone...Let me spell it for you...maybe not

you dont get any message when you cant target someone. You either press f8 and someone is in range, or you press f8 and someone isn't in range, it doesn't say "You failed to target this person!"

You cant fail to target someone when you select them with mouse either.

I'm pretty darn sure , I picked up targets on f8 I was not able to hit , cause they where inside a wall , a tree or some other kinda of cheating shid..Maybe I got a " not in range , or a not visible msg , But thats not the point , the point was to get it documented and the cheating bastards banned... I could not care less if the msg you get is " That sausage is not in reach of ya hotdog..." Or if you get no msg at all.. The point is to bann bug-abusing piss-ants .. ok ????

I saw some people (won't mention names) brag about the good trick where you PA through doors on keeps, abusing a bug, in guild-chats.. "/GU I R CHEAT0R".

why's paing through a door a cheat? you get twatted by pets/casted by pets through doors, the attackers also twat you if you go close and have you targetted, you get aoe dots casted on the doors, you get pbaoes on the doors, and gtaoes on doors.

If someones out of view, they are behind you damon, if they are out of range they've hit you and moved out of range.

Or they standing inside some bleeding object and are exploiting a bug.. And dont compare a knife in the back with an area of effect spell...And pets should not be able to hit shit / or ran trugh gates either.. kinda like saying. " but momma the other kids are doing it as well so why cant I buuuhuuu "

they aint standing in any object, you can hit people inside trees/walls anyway, just /stick and f6.

As it is, you can attack through walls/gates just like you can attack me through the 5 tanks standing around me, if you dont like it, run off and play another game where the developers have more skills :p

Ahhh yes the old " let's blame the programmers ".. no software is perfect , but that bloody well does not give anyone the right to abuse the bugs. And I been hit by players, whom I could not touch , not with f6 and stick or no other way..Cause they where hidding inside cliff's , door's and what not , and dont tell me this is not a bug. And I'm not talking about them not being in range..of course I can not hit a wizzard with my hammer if he is casting form a distance , I'm not stupid , I been playing the game since beta , and before that I played UO for more than 4 years. UO where there where speed hack's , x/y/z axis cheats to break into peopels houses , cheats to rais your skills faster , cheats with who you could insta kill anyone , cheats to let you kill and loot peopel under guard protection.. I say to anyone if anything seems suspicious , hit screenshot and send to RightNow , better send em a few to many , than one scumbag get's away. To bad the shitty surport of Goa does not include ingame GM's , I saw what happend to UO after they took em out :eek:

Back on topic:

Assasins hitting from the climbing spots can be can be targetted, can be hit by melee, gtaoe & pbaoe (as well as arrows/spells from outside the keep, other assasins on the walls). So I can't see how its exploiting by -

An exploit IS:
- hiding inside geometry where you cannot be hit (rocks, trees, bridges, etc.)
- standing on surfaces where you cannot be hit (some rooftops, rocks, etc.)
- using geometry and/or pathing errors to avoid damage (the infamous “stand on rock so the monster can’t hit you” ploy)
