Also do any of you ever notice a change in smell when winters coming? I swear I can. It smells like... i dunno a mixture of blazing fireplace and wood!

well it's okish during the day with the temp up in the high teens but nights....gah. still, I shouldn't really be bitch0ring as it hasn't been _really_ cold here in holland for oh, 15 years or so. global warming doth have it's kickbacks heh. I can remember biking to school in a -25C snowstorm...but the last time I had a wee walk in the snow with a nice grrl [and dumping a handfull of snow down her anorak heh] is *cough* a long time ago. just rain and more rain these days :/

I love the cold, I cannot stand the heat. I look forward to the cold winter nights.
I think its because the warmth of a fire, heater or blanket is much more comfortable that the warmth of the sun. Don't ask me why. The sun just makes me sweat, burns me, blinds me and attracts the dumbest people ever spawned from a man and a woman to my current workplace in the form of tourists.

Yes but fit women come out of hibernation in the summer, and lots of flesh is freely visible!

(but other than that, I prefer cool sunny weather)

I sleep with my window open every night :/ Except when the wind's strong and it keeps blowing my door open, so i have to shut it to :(

I do enjoy the cold... Lying in your bed, when your room is ice cold - As snug as a bug in rug :D We have coal fires downstairs, allthough i never lit the one in this room last year. The cold doesn't bother me too much, so i'm not sure whether it's worth the effort of building a fire, then pratting around trying to get it to take(after lighting it) :/

yeah its all good being in a cold room when your walm in bed, but the real killer is waking up!

It unbearable to subject yourself to the pain of going from being warm and snuggly to cold and grumpy
