Funny ive seen more hibs in emain recently that albs ;p and hibs do have something to whine about.

I will keep playing, and I know hundreds of others will too. Albs will fight back, we always do, and so will the hibs. TBH Mids with 6 relics - gonna be hard for them to keep. Chances are that all there so-called fotm grps will flee the RvR areas when theres a sniff of a RR to protect their babies, maybe they wont - thats the point, thats the fun.

get some balls imo, just becuase you aint having relics doesnt mean you cant get them back. As you say "boohooo mids got all relics" then why dont you pull your right hand up from your underwear and do something about it? You are just to lazy to try and if someone does plan it and you would fail, try again?

Just to straighten a few things out :

I said I was taking a break from RvR but I would still participate in Relic Raid / Mid keeptakes. So I'm intending to take the relics away from Mids. However, until we manage to do so, I will not be doing "casual RvR" or whatever you wanna call it.

I'm posting my decision because i think its a good one. It will allow Albs to unwind and focus on retaking the relics. And the Mids who already ran around in Emain/Odins/Hadrians by far outnumbering or "outoptimizing" the others will have even fewer people to farm.

I myself do not like the current "Relic aspect" of the game as it stands to day. Its a good idea to promote realm unity and large realm vs realm battles, but it fails at two major issues:

1) It gets ruined when you cant publicly announce relic raid on your realm because it will get blabbered.

2) The lag is so extreme that playing decent is impossible.

Thanks to the Albs who've posted in my support. And I ask Albs/Hibs to consider whether going out for fun casual RvR whether its really worth it when the realm who already had...what was it, 38 of the 40 last week top rps/week? ... decided they needed to be even stronger.

Albs are rock bottom at the moment. We have nothing to lose. I'm sure someone knows the saying about the man who has nothing to lose.

Because there's other people to play with at least, and not the only group who has to face 5+ enemy groups!

Hold on a second, are you trying to tell me that there is any mid guild-group that a PE group couldn't beat in a 1fg vs 1fg fight?
Even if they run with 3 savages, which by the way most mids don't?

PE has the highest number of RR8-RR10 on the server I believe. How did you reach that high? By being farmed by mids? I don't think so. You fail to see that the problem here isn't about savages (name one mid rvr savage group that regularly beats a PE group), it isn't about relics, but about adds/zerg. I fully understand the frustration you feel when beeing added upon over and over. We hate it just as much when it happens to us. At the moment we are about 4 mid-guilds managing 2million rps/week. Albs and hibs have no guild above 2m/week. Thats where the problem lays. You need more groups of PE/FL-caliber out there. Look at your own strengths and use every advantage you have to its fullest. Youre realm has the best defensive abilites of them all, a PE-style group with RA's up is one of the toughest thing you'll ever face in rvr. Savage groups have very high damage output but are nowhere near as strong defensivly as albs. (Here's a tip for you: kill the MA-savage, not the support).

Sure blame it on savages, or ae-stun, or asd or sm pets. But that still doesnt explain why us mids have been feeding so many high RR albs and hibs. The imbalance at the moment is in numbers not classes or RA's. The server needs more active Albs and Hibs.

Now go take your relic back so we can get back to the emain routine.

Hibs haven't been RvR for a while now (apart for the die hards and the new comers) - now you understand why (and probably did beforehand anyhow). IMO in this particualar patch at low Realm Ranks Hibs and Albs are probably on a par for FG vs FG RvR, high Realm Ranks Albs are stronger due to melee based RA's.

Guess it's easier for Hib to accept this though, we've been rock bottom for a long time now. For us every minor win is a massive victory - sad really but guess it's just a different perspective.

dood, hibs have been at the bottom for a long time, for some reason hib have blossomed lately and more and more people are doing RVR on hib/pryd now than in a very very long time. Its not like the mids have said to us, no u cannot go RVR if you wanna. We still win a few fights here and there. My guild do regular keepraids, PVEraids, RVR and try to attend to RR's. We play daoc, we dont play a small piece of daoc called FGvsFG-RVR that is a dead concept that simply doesnt work anymore for us hibs. If we did that we'd be better off in Planetside or something I guess.

What I'm tryin to say is, we adapt with the game, or at least try to, we move and do other things when emain is hopeless, we dont just log and sit on our asses and say "fecking silly mids, they ruined my game, now I am gonner whine like I never whined before", we go bash a keep if we are annoyed or do something else, get my point? If we was a pure RVRguild.. maaaan, we would have quitted ages ago. =)

tbh i don't see the problem, mid now have the str relics which albs have had for quite some time. No1 was complaining over the relics (for all i know anyway) when albs had their fotm meleegroups out ganking everything(?!).

It's not like our pow relics mattered much against those groups ?

Why is it silly to whine when mid use a chatgroup to make sure they always are at least twice the numbers when they face PE ?

With the ubar gaurds wiped at gralla atm I bet 1 fg could actully get the first relic, but insted you go crying your eye's out.

imo its realm vs realm so if you get ganked by a large force then gather also a large force or go to another rvr-ground.

And if you really think your realm is only 1 fg i believe there is a pvp server somewhere out there maybe go take a look there.

Everybody is free to play the game his way, no?
