Hmmm surprising, any other English in SNP?

This to me reads like your rant was proven wrong when you asked for links you got one, so to try keep your arguement on track you demand more proof even though your original demand was met.

Dunno why you think that Trem. I think we are allowed a voice it's just that most people either don't use it or don't use the channels that exist for it.

That's all very well but we don't have the weight of a political party to voice the needs of the English people in the UK. The Scots have the SNP and the Welsh have the Welsh assembly, what do the English have? The prime minister is Scottish ffs and the Scottish people get so much more for their taxes than us English, where is the fairness. It's such a big political issue that letters to your MP won't make a difference sadly.
Like the guy says in that video it is sickeningly unfair, but what can we do?

My rant? Where was my rant?

I was having a discussion with Tom like adults do.

I couldn't give a flying fuck what reads like what to you tbfh. You to me seem like someone who kisses arse when they want sponsorship then go all bitchy after the event. You can either care I think that or not much like I don't care what you think.

Do us a both a favour and don't read my posts k thx.

I personally think the SNP are a poison to Scotland much like BNP is everywhere. SNP are fighting for total independance from the rest of the UK which will turn Scotland into a third world country, we have no sustainable exports anymore (Gas has all been sold)

Also another thing about Scotland being better off tax wise etc remember than nearly every major legislation that comes in, it gets trialed in Scotland first, like the smoking ban. That pisses everyone right off.
I dont think anyone is better really, seems its more a grass is greener

I will be honest with you....I give up with it all, like you say it always seems the grass is greener but we all know whoever is in will be in it for themselves. They all care a hell of a lot while they want to win votes then couldn't give a flying fuck afterwards because they are on the gravy train.

I would of loved to of been in a boozer in Glasgow when they tried to first stop the locals from smoking :D

I once had a conversation with a scots lad about the SNP and mentioned that i don't think it would do Scotland much good as the country is basically funded by England's taxes (they get something like £25 billion a year from England if I recall correctly)...they got rather shitty with me which made me laugh.

Bit of a warped way of thinking about it unless all the Scottish tax goes on something stupid like building a ghastly parliament and call it something stupid like Holyrood...

I don't agree with the BNP being given a slot simply because they are not a major political party, hell they haven't even got a seat in parliament
Why are they important enough to be given a voice over say the Respect, Independent, SNP? or x minor party

The Respect have more seats than them ffs and they rarely appear on the show, the only reason they are being given a slot is because of their high exposure.
That is what i take issue to personally

Source: http://www.parliament.uk/mpslordsandoffices/mps_and_lords/stateparties.cfm

While i in no way support them, the SNP has a far bigger claim to go on the show than the BNP

Representatives of the SNP have already appeare on QT

So have the Respect Party.

The reason that the BNP is being given a slot is because they now have two MEPs. They're being given a voice over nobody else, and there is nothing wrong with giving a voice to a party with a high exposure.

I agree with Tom - like it or not they should enjoy the rights of any minor political party.

Hell - we already have murdering bastards from Sinn Fein appearing how can people make a fuss about the BNP compared to them?

Sinn Fein also actually have 5 seats on the British Parliament (although they didnt take them), the BNP are akin to the Monster Raving Loony party here

@Tom you mentioned 2 parties with seats, as i said before they have more claim to appearing on the show than the BNP

If they were actually a voted in party with seats i would have 0 problem with it, but they are given preference based on media exposure

Yes you did, and I told you that those parties have already had representatives appear on Question Time.

Now its the turn of the BNP. They're an important party, like them or loathe them. They have a right to their say, and the BBC has a duty to allow them to say it.

I doubt the BBc will not allow an anti-muslim party on its broadcasts.

Remember when they were accused of racism when the two black dancers were voted off Strictly Come Dancing?

The Sinn Fein thing it seems was wrong, but as long as they are not living in England, you can have extreme parties on the show, like the SNP and Sinn Fein.

Their views had nothing to do with it mate, they won seats, so were allowed a voice. The BBC had to let them on to remain impartial

The BNP however have none, so it is not 'their turn' in my opinion until they have

As above, i completely agree they have a right to their say, IF they won seats
Otherwise you might as well invite every other mickey mouse party out there and make a mockery of the show.
But I guess we will have to agree to disagree

How can you agree to disagree when you have ignored Tom's point for the 2nd time? The other parties you mentioned have been on question time, the BNP has not.

Do you not see that it is better to give extremists their say sometimes, it lets everyone realise just how loopy they are.

eExactly Ch3t, the more they are "silenced" and ignored, the more people will get interested in them and search for infomation on them.

They have won 2 seats on the European Parliament. The BBC has alllowed MEPs on the programme before now (such as Daniel Hannan). The BNP also has several councillors.

Sounds to me as though you just want to keep the BNP from having their say. Personally, I'd rather they appeared, and were shown for what they are—racists, and Old Labour socialists.

The BNP are far from a mickey mouse party. They are an important facet to parliamentary democracy, and they've earnt a voice.

You weren't around in the 70s.

BTW, Nigel Farage has been on Question Time. To my knowledge, UKIP have never won a parliamentary constituency in the UK.

He represented the Conservative party afaik

You think wrong for the reasons i have said previously, otherwise i would be equally against parties such as the SNP and Sinn Fein appearing on QT

They are in the same boat as the socialist party, green peace, etc..
