Big Vodafone outage

Their basingstoke data centre is having an issue - supposed to be affecting 3.1 million customers - doh!

I think it started at 11ish last night - on the beeb they are saying it was a break in but its odd that an important data hall serving millions doesnt have security at 11pm on a sunday???

Its back on now. but the mailbox is jammed with everyone picking up thier messages. Cant get through to it atm

Finally got to listen to my messages at about 10pm last night, its been ok today for me

They got burgled. Someone stole a fuckload of network switches.

Not sure if thats common knowledge yet as not been watching/reading the news.
