Been able to go back through some of my tree images to share some inspiration with you. Whilst the principles of subject matter and composition don't change, trees and woods lend themselves well to dark and moody conditions which add mystery and feel.

Thanks RB and Ed, yeah the 4th one doesn’t quite have the mood, plus it’s wider angle than the others so the perspective isn’t quite as compressed which takes away the framing. The image was to convey the juxtaposition of the old fallen tree and the new beech tree.

Hey @Big G looking to calibrate my monitors. Displaycal is prob the software.

Xrite display or spyder5 i guess what hardware do you use?

I got a spyder2 and got it to work with displaycal. Wondering if there will be a huge difference between a 2 and a 5. What number do you have?

I think it’s a 2. My monitor matches my prints.
