One thing I like about this program is it seems a bit more fresh then others, you guys find that? The stories seem a bit different to what you see in a lot of series.

This continues to be by far the best thing on TV. Random dark humour, great drama and a great script.

Sidenote, anyone been watching the US version?

They cast george as a stereotypical us nerd, annie looks EXACTLY the same ( well, 95% ), and the lead guy looks like he's from a twilight film

They should stick with the porn fest that is true blood, and leave the proper drama to us.

I though the ending was fairly obvious but it wasn't necessarily bad.

It's a bit annoying that they've gone with the old "up the ante" style with the elders. This sorta stuff always eventually ruins programs (Stargate SG1) because you know that every season finale will just reveal another big bad guy for them to fight if they get a series renewal.

Agreed, you can always continue the premise (Vampire -v- Werewolf war?) with another set of characters views, etc, etc. Just look at The Wire.

Gone, i dont think vamps can become ghosts none of the others have, and they are already dead anyway remember no souls

They'll go with the old Angel / Buffy vampires with souls plot device. Remember Mitchell has a conscience, they'll find a way to involve him again. Although I think it would be best if they resisted that temptation.

I personally think the old ones know how to bring him back, remember he could walk into the house without an invite and said you dont get to live over a thousand years without picking up a few tricks. Who is to say Herrick was right about the stake?
