Dear idiot forum user, the word lately does not apply to today or yesterday. it is a date wich envolves the recent times wich can either be 1 min ago or the last 2 weeks for example wich was when i checked last time while paying rent. So before throwing shit like your some kind of last action hero i advise you to google the meaning of them.

How the hell can you say lately applies to 1 min ago, but not yesterday? If 1 min ago is lately, then so is the couple days before! Because I have hope. And I truely believe that people can't be that retarded. I believe the reason people get into these things are personal grudges and misinterpretation/misunderstanding. I agree with you about people, the majority of people aren't stupid. It's all in the way that things are explained to them, you need to find how they best recieve information & use that & put it in terms that have meaning to them. I'd personally say that a members actions wouldn't be enough to effect my opinion on all members in a guild. The only thing that got me thinking of late were his comments in another thread; I know I wouldn't want to play a game alongside someone like that.

Communication is a 2 way process; shouting "fuck you" at me is not communication, it's a diatribe. Communication is not about 1 person getting a message; it's about 2 people being involved in a discussion, passing of each others ideas, an interchange of thoughts or feelings. For instance having a discussion such as this on a forum is communication. If you told me to "fuck off" & I responded with "clueless n00b" then we wouldn't be communicating, we'd be talking (or shouting if you prefer) AT each other.

I'm not saying that everyone has the potential to be Einstein, I'm saying that if everyone was educated in a way in which they relate too (different people absorb information in different ways & learning by rote is generally the least effective manner for the majority of people) then they'd at least have a fighting chance of being able to make more informed decisions. Whether they read tabloids or not is irrelevant it's about whether people can make informed thoughts from a biased (& also recognise it's biased) source. The broadsheets are just as guilty of bias as tabloids are so what is required is a variety of sources - this being the case reading a tabloid, recognising it has bias & obtaining other sources of information to supplement the tabloid would actually be a good thing.
