reading through this thread leads me to the conclusion that there are a lot of pinkos in here, blindly force-fed whatever the evil jewish-ran corporations tell them. TWATS

Somehow I rather have the freedom of saying/typing what I want and not live in a dictatorship (like in Iraq)
Oh and also for the people I disagree with.

What a complete waste of time/energy the march turned out to be :D

hmm aye, bit odd reading this thread again - especially seeing cage and his anti Jew stuff. Forgot about the young chap already tbh.

Aye, a few mates and I was going to stand near the US embassy here (i say near cos they closed the road off due to "credible threat") , but any protest is met with an automatic 7 year jail term - ain't military run countries brilliant :(

(alough i'd get out early but deported mind)

so instead i took the day off work and watched tv.

lol I'm sorry Phazey, I'm so used to people putting anything BUT their location in there I never look. Bit flipping harsh :(

How long's it been a military run state?

My apologies, i meant it anything but harsh :(

I think this place has been run by the military since the UK buggered off - 1947 i think...

lol nooo noo I didn't mean you were harsh with your reply I meant the 7 year jail term was harsh :)

Since 1947 eh? That's a good example of me not being up to speed on current events then LOL ;)

I think its cos 7 is deemed an unlucky number, the jail terms are 7,14,21,death

minor crimes meet the 7 year penalty.

Its not my country, i am a guest here, so its not my place to question how it works.

so i don't.

:)

Wasn't Burma renamed as "Myanmar", or has it been changed back again when that wacko leader died ?

there were marchers at holborn today, shame they dont think of the disruption they cause.

About 10 mins after their usless march and stupid chants had passed the traffic was still gridlocked, and as a result 3 fire engines trying to attend a call were stuck with no where to go and their sirens wailing.

I just hope it was somone they knew who were in need of those fire engines

some cars were beebing their horns and the stupid fucks were cheering (thinking that the sounding of horns was to support their usless cause), it was only when the said cars tried to drive through them did they realise they were wrong.

Are you making up lists of attendees?

Why make a list Will?

We have digital camcorders these days!

There is some sort of march outside our office right now...a whole bunch of kids...

Perhaps they want more homework...

They ain't gonna stop the war just cos 400,000 hippies turn up with banners. So what is the point exactly?

Well it gives them a chance to write graffiti all over the place and drop a lot of litter without being arrested...

Weird attitudes here. Marching is never going to stop/prevent a war outright, but it does show the strength of public feeling. Public demonstrations eventually put and end to the Vietnam war.

Anyway, I've changed my mind now. Saddam has to go.

I don't think marching is pointless, it gives me a chance to get my camcorder out and film a load of mainly white, middle-class well-fed people shouting stop the suffering.
