NFL Videos: 'A good rule improved'

American's and their weird rules..

Rules as they were:

• Coin toss decided who gained first possession
• First to score won the game, may it be TD or a FG

The new rules:

• Coin toss still decides who gains first possession
• If the winner of the coin toss scores a TD on opening drive they win the game

Rules got changed because the kickers accuracy and kick power has increased and most kickers can knock one in from about the 50-55 yard line so the coin toss winner already had a huge advantage as soon as they recieved the ball

I have to say that I agree with this becuse it really felt that after a hard game it came down somewhat to luck.

Now I know you could say that with penalties there is an element of luck but atleast both teams get a chance!

It is only in the playoffs as they explain in the video. In regular season you still have 15 other games to prove yourself

And yes I agree that the rules needed some changes, but I don't think it turned out as good as it could have been
