apparently arian foster is a game time decision for sunday... this is so much harder than normal fantasy football

edit - it leaves my team on the NFL website in a mess... my three top RB's are MJD, Foster and Reggie Bush. MJD not playing week 1, Foster questionable, and Reggie Bush up against the texans D. My other options are James Starks (god knows how much he'll see the ball) and Pierre Thomas (ditto).

I have vick in my 8 team league so I'm also rooting for him to stay healthy!

I think that's a decent team especially in a 12 team league. A lot of people are down on Turner this year but the thing is even if he ends up sharing the carries this year he's still getting all the goal line carries because he's a monster at that. I think he gets 10-12 touchdowns easy and for that reason alone I think he's a great RB2

I'd swap out Redman for Mendenhall though.

I got Redman in round 8, which was a total steal. They call him Red Zone Redman for a reason! I'm chuffed with my team this year, last year was bad, had to spend half the season on the wire. I'm looking forward to seeing Turner catching the ball more, I think the Falcons have one of the best teams this year, they can go far, especially after choking last year. It's a shame Ingram is at NO, he was a beast when he was in College Football, if he was at Miami or Redskins he'd be their number one in a heartbeat!

Didn't see Redskins beating New Orleans, but then, Shanahan is the dodgiest coach in the NFL. I bet he doesn't know what he's planning until afterwards!

It's all well and good the BBC having the rights to Monday Night Football, but if they're going to have it about 50 seconds behind a wonky internet stream I've got they needn't bother

why does brady hate welker all of a sudden?

He doesn't. Belechik has always had a reputation as being ruthless and that's what is happening here. Welker is a great player no doubt....but when you look at it, it's been Brady and Bill that have made him great. Before coming to the pats he was an undrafted journeyman WR who was average at best with the Dolphins. He's a great route runner no doubt, but he's 31 now and looking for a long term contract when in reality he has maybe 2 good season left in him. The patriots also have Julian Eddleman (who has been replacing Welker slowly this season) who they believe is a player in the weler role who can do that job just fine. Combine that with the patriots shift their attacking strategy so that it all goes through Gronk and Hernandez and you've got a player who's shit out of luck.

I hate to see it because I really like Welker.

No I wouldn't just yet. With Hernandez out for 2-6 weeks I think Welker gets a good amount of work the next few weeks. What I'd do is get those weeks out of him and then Trade high when Hernandez comes back!
