Still think they made a mistake selling the farm for Palmer but I think they have two talented young WR's in Moore and Heyward-bay.

Yes raiders. If Palmer & Run DMC are fit for the year, thats as good a running back/QB combo as any in the NFL imo, but the AFC West is impossible to call, Chargers look strong this year and Chiefs are always there or there abouts and how the Broncos will do is anyones guess. Reports coming out of training camp are positive so i think Playoffs is a real possibility.

If Manning is back and playing like he used to then I think Raiders are probably only getting to the playoffs through the wildcard to be honest.

If Rivers plays like he did last season then the Raiders should easily come second in that divison I think.

Run DMC must be the most explosive RB in the NFL but he is just so injury prone.

Seen as the Broncos did as well as they did last year with Tebow at QB, you'd expect them to be even better with Manning, but no one seems to really know what kind of shape he is in.

Great start of the season... will be tough without Peyton at the helm, but i think the Saints will make a good season anyway. Pete Carmichael jr will probobly do the headcoaching untill Peyton is back.

Not a bad team bu I'd find another def if I was you. Decker could end up being a fantasy best this season with Peyton!

not too fussed about the pats D. they've solidified their secondary this year and whilst i dont think they'll be top 10 i dont think they'll be much worse.

chose my D in round 15 by which point some people had picked up a 2nd for their bench. with some of the people i picked up in the later rounds i didnt see the point of wasting a pick on a D.

edit - also, there is no one i'd really like to trade out of my team, i like my bench a lot.

edit 2 - i think decker will see a lot of time in that w/r slot instead of reggie bush.

edit 3 - ryan vs rg3 will be a good battle. ryan has looked great in pre season but rg3 is always going to pick up points.

edit 4 - the guy who had the first pick took Rodgers, i had 2nd. Foster vs Rice was a very difficult choice and i regret not taking Rice slighty.

Watching the Boston College game today and they seem to have learned how to play again after being last in almost every offensive stat last year.

Oh and I drafted my first fantasy team earlier this week

Id be a bit worried about turner as a starter. I have him in the flex slot in my espn team but cant see him seeing too much of the ball with ryan in the form he is in and taking his age into consideration.

I think he plays the first half of the season the same as he did last year at least. I know everyone is down on him but I just don't see why.

1. I don't think the Falcons pass as much this year as everyone thinks
2. Ryan is good but Turner is proven
3. Matt Ryan like to run the ball near the goal line.

For what his is for me, my No.2 Rb I think he'll be just fine!

I know I've been thinking the same thing today. You know who I think could be a sneaky pickup though? Mendenhall the RB from the steelers who everyone thought wouldn't be back until midway through the season. Now they are saying he could have a part to play in SUNDAYS game.

Also seeing the Giants get beat after weeks of everyone saying they were definitely going to win got me hard.

My fantasy team this year is going to be interesting. It's a 12 person league of guys and girls who have been playing the same league since 2004. There's some not insignificant money at stake too.
If Vick holds up I'll be a happy man.

I have vick in my 8 team league so I'm also rooting for him to stay healthy!

I think that's a decent team especially in a 12 team league. A lot of people are down on Turner this year but the thing is even if he ends up sharing the carries this year he's still getting all the goal line carries because he's a monster at that. I think he gets 10-12 touchdowns easy and for that reason alone I think he's a great RB2

I'd swap out Redman for Mendenhall though.

I don't blame you...there are just too many RB's in the big easy to trust any of them but Sproles who gets all of his value from pass catching.
