My monitor is kinda flickery, nothing over-the-top, but if I keep using it will it fuck my eyes and is there a way to sort it without a new monitor?

I doubt it'll kill yer, just annoy you every now and then. oh and btw, one of the easiest ways to reduce flicker is to move your speakers away from your monitor, i know they all say the're shielded and all dat, but quite frankly, they're not, and its suprising how few ppl know this.

If your desk is too small to move the speakers, get wall-mounted jobs, or some shelves behind your desk to mount them on. The shelves option is very good for those of you on a budget. Students can still afford a tin of beans, or even some super noodles, after that purchase.

Changing refresh rate is the best idea. Try knocking it down to 60MHz just to see if there's any change. Try a clip-on filter, even though they're shite.

You could have duff monitor, of course.

I had similar problem, like an idiot i didnt realise i was running at 1152 x 864 32bit at 60hz lol, running sweet now at 80hz
