Any recommendations for good off-line retailers?
Mrs Yucks' new car arrives in a week or two, didn't take the factory option as they were overpriced and crappy.

Ta muchly.

For a moment there, I pictures them delivering you the car already propped on on bricks. Not a lot of help, but the image made me laugh. :)

What kind of car Yuck? Nothing more embarrassing then a pair of stupidly large alloys on the wrong car :)

Citroen C2 1.4 Furio. I'm only looking for 15" jobbies, the factory ones were £600 iirc. Standard is steel with covers, so we will keep the tyres and switch the wheels. I've seen some nice stuff at Halfords for £300, just looking for some alternative choices.

£600 is pretty cheap for alloys. I remember being quoted £400 each for the alloys on my last Volvo, because one of them was 'buckled and damaged'. An independant test revealed that there was fuck all wrong with it, so I told the dealer to 'stfu thx bye'

I'd try and get something that matches closely with their own brand of alloys.

Thats very expensive, nowadays you can get a set of decent 17" alloys with tyres for £5/700.

*bah* if you had said online retailers, i would have pointed towards http://www.performancealloys.co.uk since i've gotten a few decent deals from them... and a huge selection of wheels available.

off-line, i'd say halfords just to piss you off

*blows raspberry* :)

Cool webby tbh, lists wheels by car model, useful with the car being an unusual stud pattern. Free del too, they may get the business :)
