I'd plump for Evanescence: Fallen.

Superb disc - 11 songs, all brilliant, no fillers.

Others?

Have to agree with you there. ;)

Also i borrowed the Muse album from a friend, i can say this CD is an excellent compiltion of song, by far the best they have done yet.

Hard to say really, won't be Evanescence as albums of the year generally have to be good.

I liked the mellowness of the Thrills or maybe The Kings of Leon.

Jet has been pretty good for raw adrenaline (at least in the singles), but that doesn't make a "great" album.

I'll give Tom McRae - Just Like Blood a plug :)

Ok, so you like Limp Biscuit, but think Metallica's latest is shite? I can't say i've listened to St. Anger, but the stuff i've heard from it is decent enough. I don't think i need mention what your oppinions on Limp Biscuit say about your tastes

I'm not the first, and I won't be the last! You'll never take me alive, mon capitaine!

I keep forgetting to bring the new B&S home from work, SO YOU SEE I've not heard it yet.
