Stopped reading the thread at the point it became a flame-fest from all involved...

Tonight was fun in some places - had a nice fight with 2fg of us vs 3fg of mids and won, had a nice fg-fg twice with Mastade's group. Won the first one - we had adds but they had 3 dead by then. and lost the second one. third one was added on seconds after the start by albs .

(Although we're not reallly built for fg-fg fights atm (struggling to find a regular banelord atm as ours has work commitments) they were the highlight of my evening tbh). Hope to get some more group-group fights or 2fg-bigger odds fights again soon - they were the highlight of my evening.

That said, had some fun tower fights and i generally got a severe headache from running back and forth between towers endlesslessly with all the flames going on and off.

AC'ing might be fustrating, but its a part of the game for some people - hibs have done it to us, we've done it to them, mids have done it to them etc etc etc. Any realm claiming they've never AC'ed relics in the past needs to wake up and smell the coffee...

Yes, you can interrupt the insta snare and the insta dot of a 50 Flex Banelord Tic with a slam. And since melee Tics are no where near casters and enemy support to be found it doesn't matter if you slam them so they can spam tendrils. Indeed, it has no effect, that's why I saw you doing it over and over again and yes you indeed tried to hit a PD4/5, 1000+ AF, unshearable target with a Warden.

Go get a clue please before accusing others of a shitty playstyle, at you RR you got still lots to learn.

its called interrupting, even if u had no PD and 700AF a warden damage is crap but if it keeps u tied down all fight well dats my shitty job done, if i tie up 2 tanks (amazing how many high rr tanks out there that will happily stay on a bodyguarded target, makes my job easier) or 1 crappy heretic or interrupt healers & casters (i particularly like the throw weapon/slam/power leak combination them brittles rox) i dont give a shit maybe u'll understand someday eat more dirt i say...

Dont matter wich realm has IRVR in another realm if you are cutting either crau port(if irvr crim crau) OR bled port (Bleed/nott irvr) OR (Eras/beno)
If u cut portal to main keep to farming rps u could risk to wait a fairly long time for a ZERG to show up and if well organized u can't kill jack shit!
After u btried u can say to your group/yourself in vent was it really worth it to WRECK the RvR for the whole realm just to get Zerged?While u could have camped a bridge and made a fortune in RPS?

Ask yourselves theese questions next time u know who i mean think of everybody not yourselves next time

jus got back frm holiday in portugal to find another CM whine thread, we're doing well atm!
tbh we pay our subs as u pay urs, the game is a 24 hour game, we can within reason play it as we like. i dont care if we loose a few fg fights tbh, we win our fair share aswell. All the whine "CM is shit.Bunch of tossers ect" should think bout how they play, im sure there are ppl who dislike the way thy play, sum ppl PVE other FGvsFG, 1v1....we all pay our subs and play as we like. i couldnt care if u went and took all 4/6 relics in 1 night, infact id say nice job tbh. CM wouldn't log on our Hib/Mid alts (lvl 20 ranger ftw) we would keep trying to get back our own relics.
Ppl in guild are frm many countrys, with time difference, a few work nights making it almost normal for them to b playing at early morning times, so wen u log on at 6.00 and log at 12.00 is same as some logging in at 12.00 ect...
we have some very good players in guild, despite wat ppl say and with the right players in grp we can do well!!
alot of ppl here can moan and complain, call us crap ect...but ingame is where it should b sorted, instead of whining sort a BG/AC raid i dont care, get ur relics back!

In your universe you tie up two tanks in my you kill your group because you definatly slam Banelord tanks. Fair enough, dream on, still not a good position to flame others from for their FG performance.

We've been there, read that and worn the t-shirt (well actually I have not worn the t-shirt but it is in the wash).

The simple issue is that yes you can play how you like but grabbing relics at 4am or 5am is as annoying as hell to an awful lot of players. The few that did it have managed to suck a great deal of energy and enthusiasm from the many who had enjoyed a few days RvR where there were no winners or losers overall. A few keeps and towers changed hands but then were re-taken so at the end the status quo was maintained (please note there was no whine about the keeps being taken back after Mastade's raid was over and there were fewer if any defenders).

If your aim is to "win" at DAOC then annoying people to the point where they wonder quite where the fun is and it if it is worth playing anymore is one way of doing it. To be honest you will not need to AC raid then you could simply stroll in and take the relics at any time as there will be so few peeps left playing, it all becomes daft.

So the we pay our subs point is a somewhat selfish outlook. I cannot see how it was fun, I cannot see how it needed to be done if the aim (as others have quoted) was to get people out. Everyone needs to look beyond their own self congratulation and glory hunting blinkers.

albs just dont have the leadership to do anything prime time, they can chuck as many numbers at the enemy as they like but without good leadership they just get farmed.
i was in the hib BG on the first mass rvr night and it pretty much went like clockwork, every order carried out and quickly. sitting in the alb BG the next day (wasnt rvring, just exping my tic) and it seemed to be utter chaos, mostly people lfg even at one time a discussion about whether a lvl 44 sorc should even be allowed to be defending, didnt seem anyone was doing as they were asked, more interested in the holy RP...pathetic

Disagree with the comment about alb not having good leadership - problem is we seem to have players incapable of listening to orders half the time. Figure mid and hib has the same problem but perhaps not quite to the sheer scale albion does...

We could take em, but it will be the case where you and your guild take em back in the early hours.

Really there was just very few good Leaders in Albion for the past years. One who comes to mind is Herbal but thats it. I haven't seen any great stunts from Albion since we have NF.

I don't know why the hell Albion isn't able to do it Primetime. They have the Numbers, improved Classes and the Relic Keeps (Shrines) are now at the same Position. (Not that fucked up for Albion anymore since NF)
All you have are the AC Raiders who do the Relic Raids for you at 5am.Sad

Hibs always tried to take Relics at normal Times. We had and have good Leaders and People listen. Thats nice and most of the time it works out.

You can count the stupid Hib Raids on one Hand and most of them were done because of any other Realm doing AC Raid or whatever on us.

Those Custodia Malakas or whatever they are called are just fucking up the fun, the balance and annoy the majorty of the Server with their 24/7 blablabla.

The funny thing is i never heard of them before. They were just some random Albs within the Albzerg. And now i know them...not because they are good..no... because they are doing some damage to the Server.

You should know that you outuumber both hib and mid combined primetime when yuo take out the relic defence zerg. Its very hard if not impossible to take relics while you have that.

One of the things about leadership is that a good leader doesn't have that problem - ergo - if people are percieved as not listening it's probably a management/officer/leader issue, not a question of bad workers/soldiers/team players.
