GET IN!

Is he still at RBS? Are you at RBS?

Edit: and congrats :D
No and no.

Thanks :) Been a while since I was working but the new role has shit loads of stuff to do which I am eager to get my teeth into. Lots of stuff to do and implement and I get to bring my Enterprise skills to a smaller firm without the cost. Seriously I cannot wait.

Since a few have correctly guessed I'll admit to the crime. Seems kind of fitting that my first job in London was through a recommendation from Deebs, now I can return the favor. Despite seeing the pokey office and the staff he still accepted the offer. He must be desperate! ;)

Cheeky sod on the clues.
  • The staff member has been around forever on the original BW forums and the FH forums. Don't remind me!
  • He wrote stuff which was used by a US Police Force. Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that.
  • He sometimes finishes stuff he starts. No comment.
  • He is larger (in body weight) than when he first arrived on the scene. True, but then so are most of us :)
  • He worked at GAME (for his sins). I blame you for that one.
The person who I am talking about can take me out for a bite to eat next week (all expenses paid by them and they put me up for a night, it is only fair!)

McD's and the sofa. Sorted.

then the HR type person walked in

You mean the company director, an original founder and your new boss. Already off to a good start winning over your new employers I see. I'll be sure she's informed of this slight Monday :D

Congrats fella :D Always good to start a job you know will challenge you and you can look forward to meeting those challenges, and it certainly won't hurt if you already know some folks ;)

I realise your position was slightly different Deebs, but GAME were fucking shite. They ran that company so far into the ground with stupid, poor decisions. Im suprised anyone at HO actually had a clue how to run the fucking company. And it sounds like things only got worse after I left in 2009.

Oh shit. :( This could get messy!
Not in a bad way, of course! Congratulations Mr Nose-the-size-of-an-aircraft-carrier ( I just thought I need to make reference to sending you to the falklands to out-bogey the Argi-bogeymen)....

Dude... welcome to city life, shitty commute-land :) I'm a 10 min cab from the city as I write, so sofa available should it be needed, and we'd better get some beer in... what's your walking distance from Old Street tube?
