Here's how I did it:
1. Refresh F5 until the login prompt box is in the middle of the screen instead of at the side. http://www.war-europe.com/#/myproductkey/
2. Then enter in your login details quickly. Click connect, watch the wheel of doom for about 30 seconds.
3. If lucky you'll get through to the beta key verification, there enter in your beta quickly and tick the accept EULA, then click proceed.
4. Another wheel of doom for 30 seconds and if lucky you'll get a confirmation, click yes!
5. Pray to your god, and you're done. Sometimes it fails here with 414 timeout, like for me twice. but I tried the patcher anyway, and that worked.

there you go, your well planned and smooth registration process

Giblets, you're wonderful, the instructions work perfectly.

So the gist of the matter is,
1. keep trying to log in, IF you get "servers down" i suggest you refresh the page, it feels like an automated message or something.

2. once you log in, click on "product key", be patient, i've noticed that every now and then pressing refresh or something just logged me out and began the "servers are down" routine again.

3. insert key, now the easy part. The validation usually brings up either one of the more common errors (414 or that other i can't remember atm.), just drag it to the side, and WAIT, the validate key button will return in a minute or so. Rince and repeat until you get the comfirmation question. keep pressing yes and waiting for the wheel of frustration to grind.

4. eventually you'll either get "key activated" like i did, or apparently "key in use" which just means it didn't bother to tell you that the activation was successful.

5. wait a minute or two and the patcher should work like a glove.

That's how it went for me, thanks giblet for showing me the WAY! :D

arknor, on any of them did you click ok on the 414 error AT ALL during the key process? if so, re-do it and try logging in cos u wudda fuked it. If not, keep pressing yes to validate it properly and keep trying the patcher it will work randomly

When you click validate once, it shud pop up a 414, you shud ignore it and move it out the way, then under validate should be a confirm yes and no that you must keep clicking

yes, during the validate page, DONT touch the 414 after clicking validate the first time, move it, then under validate shud be a yes and no option, spam yes and neva touch the 414. If you already touched it during this process, u may aswell refresh the page and start over.

Just so everyone knows, the "Yes" doesn't pop up straight away, like I was expecting, it takes a while. Just wait until the spinny thing stops spinning, then it should have appeared.

I have just this minute successfully created an account and when i confirmed the information i got a pop up saying "please click on the link in your email at ****@hotmail.com to finalize your registration". so they can't be down....right?

but i've still not received the email confirmation on this registration or the one i made 13 and a half hours ago :(

I havent read to the end yet but the most important thing is, did you had an old WAR newsletter account?
