Indeed. If they'd had the acount servers up a week ago, I would have registered my CE preorder code, been happy that I was ready to go when the servers came up, and waited patiently. However, since they didn't, the only choice I had was to get my hands on as many keys as possible, in case there were problems.

False, far from every pre-order gave OB-key. Only a few "selected retailers" or wtf they call it offered a OB with their pre-order.
