Well at least the US CSR's has posted on VN about the EU servers. Says they will try and get a response out GOA.

I got onto stage 4...and it took that long to get it to work some bugger had come in and used my username before me! So now its sent me back to stage 3 again!!!!

The image always contains the same characters, F W X H 3, so you don't really need to see the image, unless it is something intentional from GOA, which sounds unlikely.

Borek tell them at DAoC launch, offpeak play was fine. I was on the lowest pop Realm on the lowest pop server just after launch (Bors Hib), and there was only about a 2hr window in the morning (European morning) when things were sometimes a bit quiet. Numbers then were hovering round about 100 on Hib, and as soon as things hit 125 things started to kick off.

Must admit about 100 of us in that time window often had alarm clock raids to defend against (mostly successful defences), which were amongst the best fights I ever had in DAoC (especially one successful solo defence of Crauch against Shiztroll's Mids on my Enchanter lol!).

It was only when the game had pretty much died, and overall populations became an issue, that the time differential really kicked in.

yeah, population won't be a problem on the Us servers even at off-peak times for this game, so really why are any of us even thinking about paying GOA to play when a: it costs more to pay in Euro's/pounds than it does to pay in US$ due to current exhchange rates. b: GOA have a proven track record of being unable to manage a game release even when the game they are trying to release is done so in a timely, professional manner by Mythic for US customers.

That's really the point here, Mythic are doing a great job, they have the same servers, same (or more) players trying to register and beta test, ran DAoC without many problems for 6 yrs including a smooth launch, they also tell their customers what is going on when things do, from time to time, mess up. So GOA please tell us why we should give you any of our money when it goes live?

MY STATUS.

Tried initially to create new account only to fail time after time, gave up on that.

Tried time after time to log in with my original account............ after abot 2 hours I logged in and was presented with a key enrty screen, kept getting 141 error when validating then was eventually just kicked out...... I have not since been able to log back in. I also still cannot create a new account as if I manage to dodge the 414 error I get message telling me my names and email address are already in use.

What the hell am I supposed to do??? I cant actually do anything? yet I hear of people who have crated accounts and entered keys and are pretty much ready to go!!!!


SOMEONE HELP??????

Knock up a quick yahoo/hotmail/whatever new e-mail address, then create a new account.

I am at stage 4 in the account registration, ant for the last 2.5 hours I haven't been doing anything else than clicking on the confirm button, because I get the 414 error. Anyone else have this problem?

And...OMG this is the worst EVAR! account page I've seen. These GOA people shnould eat their own shit for making this.
