I like that GOA said it was a 3rd tool program and they weren't hacked, and that they didn't do smth to prevent MrX to do it even though they got warned.

Oh, and before anyone get any ideas, the events I described and the one that happened with the griffon on one of the german (?) servers are seperate events. I had nothing to do with the griffon event, nor do I have any idea who did it.

Right, ok i gotta come out with it, Laroma's very good friend is....well, me.
I have been in contact numberous times over irc about this, unclusing seeing the GM commands etc, i had found out about this little prompt ages ago but i brushed it off as nothing more than a bug in the code, until i was sent this little document containing all the commands.
This might seem a bit abrupt but it is true.
My reason for sticking to Blejs and spawning god knows how many grand summoners/behemoths/dragons/legions on him, was because i was told to respec etc, and more specifically to sword, after being told for the gazillionth time, Blejs kinda tipped it, so when i saw him in emain, my target for the little time of fun was set, i do remember tapping into the general coversation of the area and Blejs questioning why they were spawning on him.
Before our playing in emain, we paid a trip to Ms Gjalp, deaded her and king tuscar/queen, i can say casting the dragon breath spell with 600 dex is fun
after jumping to emain, we decided to check APK, not to our suprise, 60 odd mids camping, 60 odd albs in apk, thought we would crash the party, btw Yussef im not quite sure but you got a nice buffbot, unguilded ofc
As you all know, i have deleted all my chars and ended my subscription.
heh, we were also watching irc, was it not funny how we timed it right in the middle of the action and also spawned mobs people were talking about?
i remember someone mentioning about not hoping Apoc would spawn, cue our mass spawning of them.
Anyways, cue my total complete stop of playing daoc, went out with a bang

I hope you don't like your names because I'm pretty sure you won't be using the names in any MMORPG's any time soon without getting a fair bit of hassle.
Jesus. Why are people sticking up for these two? They not only broke the CoC, the law and cost a company several thousands, if not tens of thousands of euro's, but they lied, cheated and stopped a lot of people doing what they love doing.
Thanks for the confession though. It's nice to actually know the truth for once (although I tend to take any story off the web with a pinch of salt)

Obviously you failed to read it properly. I personally had nothing to do with the actual hacking of GOA's systems, ie. the only "crimes" i'm responsible of are the ones ingame.

Try and turn it around, and think of how much it could've cost them if I hadn't come clean and told them what I knew? MrX made it clear to me at the time where I told him I was going to come clean, that he wasn't done at all with his "work", which I also let GOA know about.

Interesting read.
As a customer I'm not so concerned about you're antic's that much - My guess is you intended no real harm. MrX's motives bother me, can't be sure where he's coming from. Also concerns me that he was able to get hold of this sort of information (via whatever method he/she has been able to).
As a IT bod I understand the amount of work this must have caused GOA is massive. They're probably up against the wall anyhow with enough to do without tidying up this mess, so I can sort of understand the evil twist they've played on you - I'd probably have done the same myself in their position after the grief this has caused.
Seems at the end of the day you've been punished for being curious, must be very hard not to play around when this sort of information is made available to you (not sure I could resist), and hopefully you've helped GOA (or more to the point their customers) get this issue resolved quicker by coming clean.
In short, hope the holes are plugged, Mr X gets a spanking and you get your characters back (if all is as you've portrayed). DAoC has PvP so I'm pretty sure Hibs and Albs won't let you forget this too soon if you do get your toons back

Heh, you need a reality check. Like I said, my only crimes were the "exploits" I did ingame, and I accepted the files MrX provided me with. Morally I might be guilty as an accessory as I cheered MrX on at points, which I needless to say regret doing.

well i was not infected by this hack and all i can say is nice work you scared those sleepers out of holidays (no friday news since some weeks) and for me it was the first "good" event since 1,5 years
you see its very easy to bring some fun with lv 75 mobs to emain and also some mids enjoyed it

so wake up there kemor and use your gamemasteraccount to make some stupid thinks in emain to give us some more fun
i am bored of goas "creativity" with events its simple and fast to arrange
so do something usefull with your accounts and stop lying about the truth ("it was snowing in new york so we could not work on the patch" i hope someone remember this )

Informers are not exonerated of their crimes... they just receive a lesser punishment for them in return for their co-operation .. hence your accounts have been stripped etc...
Lets hope, for your sake, the judges are as lenient to you as GOA have been.
