That is Peter Mandelson gone.

IIRC Starmer's PMQ stuff was before the leak of doom, so not surprised he went today.

"Oh he's totally cool and awesome" - 1pm.
"Oh shit he's a bit of a creep and here's proof" - 6pm
"Byeeeee" - next day.

I think I've missed something?

As far as I was aware there was that picture of him in a robe (which they knew of before because it didn't come with the release iirc?) and him saying he's his best friend.

Unless he knew what was going on (and therefore probably should be prosecuted?) I don't see how it's a sackable offence.

Imagine being sacked from work because your mate at the pub was a paedo, and you (as far as we're aware) had no idea.

He said that there would likely be more to come, and probably knows what about.

Or Fake News... anything from the American playbook.
Even in the article it says that nothing remotely illegal happened.

But I have noted that they state Rayner avoided tax, not evaded tax.

It seems the BBC doesn't really have a story and it's kind of reprehensible that they print it. Find wrongdoing, then print a story. Not "we can't find anything wrong - but here's a story that make things seem bad" anyway.

He wrote letters to a convicted paedo after his conviction, saying you should fight this.

Just for opprobrium's sake a politician should be distancing themselves there. It's not guilt by association, but politicians need to be holding themselves to higher standards in public view.

I mean, higher standards than the thrice sacked grafter. The standards being applied should have been from Starmer, who appointed the corrupt little fucktard in the first place.

Who we talking about? King Charles?
Oh no he wrote to a judge about a convicted pedo telling him to give him a light sentence, then gave him a free house and a stipend.

And that isn't even the worst pedo he knew.

And Starmer hired him. Despite his non-paedo loving record.

How he got back anywhere near government is criminal tbh.

But then we've a supporter of genocide as PM so Mandy's not even the worst out of the two of them.

Mandelson is like a cat how many lives has he gone through and continued to fail upwards? He will land some cushy job somewhere else at some point no doubt

UN, IMF, or something next

He's 72. Why can't politicians fuck off and retire like normal people?

Why would he when he keeps getting jetted off around the world at taxpayers expense, and invited for champagne on oligarch yachts

Why should he if he's got all his faculties and is fit?

You seem to have a bit of a beef with old people. I think there's some incredibly intelligent oldies out there, who've kept themselves in good nick. We benefit from their lifetime of experience, so they should be able to work until they drop if that's what they want.

Mandleson can fuck off tho :)

I'll have a look at that in a mo :) I came to post this:

Well done Government. Censoring symbols shown to be pointless and damaging. When will they learn?

Got a friend who wears a swastika. I'll leave that statement at that to stew a while ;)

£200bn that could have been used to keep our creaking infrastructure up to date. -£200bn a year, is not investment, however shills try and spin it.

But look over there, someone with a funny accent!

Labour have such a good opportunity to risk it all and start being Labour again.

It's a uphill battle but they need to use this shit in their messaging against migration is all.

I don't see how maintaining the current course is going be good for them, or the country.
