I guess we have to accept that certain banker gold medals are no more, rowing fell off a cliff and the competition in cycling has got better.

I think in the cycling the equipment has got loads better as well, which has closed the gap a bit. Hopefully the rowing funding goes down a bit as I think its our most highly funded sport but only poshos do it anyway.

Yep, really bad performance given the amount of money they get. It's a joke when some of our athletes getting golds are completely self funded, when most rowers are oxbridge grads...

He should not have acted the way he did on the podium. Period. Much like the French boxer who staged a protest for over an hour in the ring for being disqualified. Cuntish behaviour and disrepect to their fellow athletes.

He lost the fight fair and sqaure and should accept the result and remember he is representing TeamGB on the global stage.

Oh and forgot to mention what an absolute little gem Sky Brown is for winning Bronze in the skateboarding early this morning. Loved the friendship they show each other after each run. That is how you celebrate and show respect to your fellow athletes regardless of how you compete.
