Old.tohtoris body stinks up the place like a bad fart in a crowded elevator and somehow, he looks even worse. Might be cause he was out last night all night and blah....hangover, dno't expect much detailed stories today

If I have the kit - do I have to use it straight away?

The 'codec' mentioned "works to prevent infections" ... so if I use it I could be protected from patient zero and other zombies? This would be invaluable when going out to scavenge.

Or I could hold on to it until someone needs it?

Ok so I presume the trade to Itcheh is complete by Nate (our bloated corpse companion hasn't confirmed). I assume its the same thing although Nate did mention that what was on the tin/syringe is worded differently from Mabs. Now we just have to hope that Itcheh isn't out to get us all or been bitten by P0 or we've lost something pretty vital. Now I presume this goes at least someway to allaying some of the doubts that are pointed towards Nate due to intepretation of word issues.

With regard to the fact no one else has come forward and said I've been bit..yes we've pilloried calaen but fingers crossed things are going to turn out okay with him. But if only half of us scavenged last night then its not beyond the realms of possibility that no else has got bitten.

Ch3t said I'd still get to decide who gets the item Itcheh, but obviously that wasn't part of your deal as you were just a random party. Do what you like mate.

Mabs didn't quote the name of the item originally he called it "anti infection kit" but it does seem to be the same item after toht described it, it has the same name. Toht called it this "Item codex entry - Anti-Zombie Cure" which is what I had.

I don't understand why toht isn't acknowledging the trade, he said he would. Here.

I won't confirm all trades, i'll just acknowledge them, but let's get the cobwebs off.

Unless everyone but Nate cannot read what Toht writes, no, you can do with it as you will. It would be really wise I think to keep it and then use it on yourself or someone else tomorrow if they or you get bitten.

So are we going with a no lynch today? The two main targets of the vote seem to have one person that has helped them? I suppose itcheh can vouch for Nate giving him the cure, all we know with cal though is that he claimed to be bitten and now has acquired a cure. If he is a zombie, he's been very sneaky indeed. If we are going to lynch someone then, sorry to say Cal, you still look the most likely target.

I still think logically we have to try and go for the kill, every night brings more zombies if the zombie master converts one per night, logically Cal is a good target to go for, we cannot prove anything he says, and if he is telling the truth we cannot ensure the cure works. Well personally, nate and mabs are off the target list, I'm going with patient 0 not being able to scavenge due to other activities. I know myself I am safe, so from 9 I now have 6 suspects of which 2 of them are dangerous.

If I remove Itceh due to him now having a nice item, and hoping he isn't patient 0 I'm down to 5 names with 2 of them being being dangerous.

Will have a look back and see who from those 5 looks more suspicious and make my vote.

Logically I'm nothing like a good target. Would you prefer people who get infected to keep quiet? That's,not going to help us at all.

You seem to be pushing for evidence of truth, and making your decision based on who you think you might have a chance to create a bandwagon against. I'm betting you thought by challenging nate, to send you the cure as proof you could remove an important item in your favour. You even tried the whole, don't give it to me speech, again probably hoping by appearing to not care that much that Nate would infact send them to you.

All seems to add up to me.

Making any assumptions about what patient zero can/cannot do is an unwise move. I think anyone making bold statements like 'patient zero doesn't have time to scavenge' is just going to confuse people.

I suppose that Nate giving me the cure means he's OK ... either that, or this is an audacious double bluff on his part. So for the time being:

So here's some wild thinking :

1. I'm still not comfortable with Cal wandering back to base having been bitten. I just doesn't seem very logical.
2. Anyone with a cure is likely to give it away in order to prove to the gang that they are 'good' - it's a very effective way of swaying the beliefs of the group (Nate for example)
3. If Cal was patient zero (therefore can't be cured) and just claimed to have been bitten ... is this truly the greatest bluff since Keyser Söze? Mabs, I think you might have been tricked to hand over your medi-pack in order to prove your good intentions. I think we have a wolf in sheep's clothing ... Patient Zero isn't going to die in the next few days so miraculously Cal is now 'cured' as far as the group is concerned ... and free to infect the rest of us.

Can we afford to keep Cal around, cure or no cure, even for one more night?

I said the same thing earlier, this is what Patient Zero would do to escape future votes. And no, it's not odd what with the behaviour we've had towards Calaen, why would anyone stick their neck out.

Ch3t, I'll send you the item then. I'll wait for a reply from you to this post before doing so. I can see this being a bad move though, if you're the bad guy you'll claim you didn't receive anything. Why didn't you pick some random in the group to take it?

And this cal is why i didn't qsk fir the item in the end, because nate was right, it was better he trades it with someone other than the person that asked for it.

Nighttime!

The people don't seem to get any closer to a solution to their situation and decide to call it a night. Scavenge or not, stay in or panic and run hug a zombie, time to see what the night brings!

No talking until daytime, not counting naptime.

Morning arrives and most of the people return to their respected sleeping spots.

Gmloki, Uara, nowhere to be seen though. Sydrik can be seen, bleeding from a fingersized hole in his arm(not KNEE!)

Seems the night went really well.

Update on my adventures: I scavenged an empty plastic container ... I'm assuming that it might be necessary for petrol for the abandoned car? I'm surprised to bring random crap back to the den, so it must have a purpose.

I went scavenging and didn't get attacked! I also picked up something but at this moment in time I would rather hold off on disclosing the item I found as I think it could be a bit of a game changer. I don't have any issues handing this item over, but we need to make sure it does not fall into the hands of Patient 0!

This item can only be used at night, or I would have used it straight away myself

I am most certainly not Patient 0 nor have I been attacked by last night. But that was obvious really after yesterday, there was enough interest in killing me yesterday so why waste his night time action on me? A few well placed comments against me today and the band wagon starts rolling again, helping to kill a known innocent is a much bigger success than wasting trying to turn me and having his efforts spoilt the day after. He's very smart!
