Alcohol may not mean sum1 would kill another person too feed the habit (or would it? alcoholics would do almost anything to feed the habbit.) but they could however do it while under the influence considering they dont actually know what they are doing, and may not even remember it happening the next day.
I took weed for a year and had to stop cus i couldnt afford the £50/p week it was costing me (in school at the time) and i seem to have no mental or physical problems.
Its rather hypocritical to demonise soft drugs and then go out for a glass of wine/ a pint straight after.

That was an example, not all will agree to take the alternative drug. More credit to you if u decline. Yes that event did happen. I wasnt generalising it was just used as an example of people are more likely to be exposed to harder drugs, if they take softer drugs.

So before you claim its total rubbish just remember im speaking from personal experience.

One more thing, your statement that "All generalisations are wrong" is in fact a generalisation in itself.

I have these little rubberish button thingymajoobgigglywoppledoopers in the side of my chair cover some screws. You can pluck em off and well... tbh.... they smell.... ya know, kinda funny And the more you smell em, the funnier the smell gets, till the smell gets SO funny I put em back on their place.... until the next funny adventure.

All people i knew started off.. ok well cant deny a fact here (well as far as your friends go) .Statistically speaking I bet they all started drinking before as well. Its logical when you think about it, kind of like saying all people who do 50mph in their cars in a 30mph zone started off doing 40mph.

It is possible to make drinking illegal, though not easy, countries have done it. Impossible isnt a word to band around either.

Many drugs are good for you. For many people with various ailments weed is good for them. Drink is good for you in moderation or small amounts.

Drink is a drug, dont forget it!

Hmmm ... most people who take class A/schedule 1 drugs started of with Marijuana ... well, that's true I guess. But they also all drank milk, so maybe milk is a lead towards heroin. Yes, I think so.

This is the argument that is used over and over and over again, and to be honest it's a load of rubbish.

American's generally amaze me with their lack of knowledge of drugs. In fact, that's unfair ... almost everybody amazes me with their lack of knowledge of drugs. Do you know how caffeine works? And none of that "it speeds you up" rubbish ... how it actually works? No, probably not. So how do you feel enlightened enough to talk about the dangers of class A/schedule 1 drugs when you know nothing about legal ones?

I don't smoke anything, weed, tobacco or otherwise. I only very rarely use E ... fair enough, I do drink reguarly, but maybe 2/3 pints, very rarely binge drinking (the company really does have to be THAT bad!)

Yeah, sure, E, speed, heroin, LSD, ... are dangerous and it's very important to know the risks, but come on - don't even think about trying to say that you are so much better because you drink alcoholic beverages, that you smoke or whatever ... you don't know what you're talking about!!!!!!!!

As for sniffing glue etc, just go and live in a cave will you? Don't you know what solvents do to you? Muppet.

marijuana would be legal in the UK if the government found some way to tax it. i should think a lot of people in the UK would agree.

alcohol is taxable because the government can control it. the government cant (yet) control marijuana so why would they make it legal? like people who work cash in hand - they break the law. why? because the government isnt getting the chance to tax the earnings.

E(pure): Well what to say, probably the finest artificial experience available to the human race. Never buy from strangers, know ppl who know ppl to get u the 'good stuff'. Drink water but not too much. Non-addictive, tis nice tho, so u may want repeat performances. Use in moderation, special occaisons/celebrations only.

LSD: The Good The Bad and The Ugly. Some fine times available here too, problem is when it wears off u might not be the same person u were before u took it... Risky. Non-addictive. Small/Fair chance of a 'bad-trip' if not taken in right circumstances or u are the 'wrong kind'. Whats a 'bad trip'? imagine the worst night of your life thus far, x10-100.

Cocaine: Mmmm Ever wanted to score the winning goal in the FA Cup Final? Well now u can. Problem is when it wears off u may feel more like David Beckham when he missed that penalty. Expensive. Addictive. Experiment sure... but dont get hooked.

Shroomz: Similar to LSD really except here u always know exactly what u are taking... if u picked it yourself. Dose is a bit of a gamble, but upto ~100 seems to work nicely. Non-addictive. Risky, altho i'd say slightly less so than LSD.

Speed: Crude, nasty, drug. Its a tool to be used to help u keep partying. Addictive. Commonly cut with all sorts of shite. Avoid unless absolutely needed.

Marijuana: Fun. Fun with friends, fun alone. Fun in moderation. Personally my favorite high is the lager/ganja mix but it takes years of patient practice to get the formula just right and avoid throwing up/greying out. Rule of thumb, smoke first, drink 2nd. Mostly harmless but can lead to failed exams/paranoia and other unpleasantness if used too regularly. At the height of my partying I limited myself to smoke on weekends only. And that worked out rather well

Heroin/Crack: Just say no.

Never taken it, wouldn't want to. Apparently lasts a very short time and fucking addictive. Waste of brain matter if you ask me.

Personally find smoking it makes me sleepy, I just drift off rather than anything else. Injesting it after getting rid of the binding shite via cake = whole different ball game, yum.
