prime95 torturetest runs five mins tops though :/ still fiddling with the voltages. the X2's vcore is on 1.385 atm, ram's on 1.5

the ram is running at 407.5MHz, which is a mild oc, and the cpu is at 2500MHz, which is 300MHz more than stock. I actually want to push for 2.6GHz to see if I can get over 7k 3dmarks. the gfx cards are still unOC'd

true. though my 7800GT's are worthless now (or so everyone with newer cards tend to tell me). as is, your single cards are only just beaten, which is amazing performance on their part all things considered. Anyway, the overclock allows me to continue as I was without resorting to the upgrade path (I hope) especially given that I've caved in to the 24" that Ch3tan and others have been tempting me with

also, in the line of my current score, the 79XXXX cards are cheapening by the second. I may well get two of them next year for next to nothing and hang back again, though there will be a point where it's no longer worth it to do.
