Nice one Brooky, everyone can criticise you for doing what you wanted to do but still, a fair amount of well done is in order. If it as just money (I personally wouldnt have spent any money on an 'allegedly' stolen domain) I salute the people who put forwards the money for it all to go ahead.

This is starting to piss me off now. No one said "Brooky is only buying it so he can have the domain for himself". Everyone was concerned that he was paying out a large sum of his, and others personal money, to someone of questionable ethics.

I agree with all those who said "don't pay the money". Not beacuse we didn't want the domain back, but because we didn't want to see a member of this community get shafted.

Well done for brooky for going ahead, its not something I would have done, unless the price was reasonable.

Now can we drop it? The domain is back, case closed.

By buying it back you've just confirmed that his actions, whilst unethical, were productive. Nice one!

Should've just let the domain rot away to worthlessness, and then buy it for the normal nominal amount. The brand "Barrysworld" wouldn't have had any caché at all without the actual service behind it to back up and maintain the name/reputation. We're not talking about "BluesNews" or anything here.

I wouldn't have personally paid any amount of money for it - not because it isn't necessarily worth that, but because of the motives of the person selling it.
