If your 'fun' ruins the game for someone else, by doing something thats not supposed to be able to happen, then for sure you deserve banning.

However if you just go around waving and emoting theres no harm done and I for one wouldnt mind. In fact I would love to infiltrate the enemy realm myself and go fondle some elf chicks.. However if I was inside my realm and some ugly troll came and killed me I would be majorly pissed..

its not as if killing a few invaders in-realm is a hard task or anything, imo as sum1 said it "species" the game.. but if ppl wasnt punished for those actions there would b jumpers every day and ppl even logging off inside camping lowbie spots and such making real havoc..

Most prolly u will get a 3days ban, which aint really a problem tho

No offence Tivook but what you did isn't allowed. We Players don't make the Rules and whatever you say there is no excuse for killing a hib inside our realm. Self Defence doesn't count there.If someone reports you then you will get banned.

I wouldn't be surprised if I get suspended for a couple of days but a perm ban for something like this is way off because this would be my first "abuse".

I think it should be possible to enter another realm. But only if going through the gates. It's more realistic than not being able to enter at all.

dont think anyone will get banned when it comes to GOA and i have nothing against anyone invading our realm as long as you dont kill anyone.. even tho it's breaking the rules.

also remember being killed by a minstrel in Lough Gur and reported him and afaik he got away with a warning.

I had a guildy banned a while ago for going through zonewall in mid and running round a town scaring a few mids and he didnt kill any. Its not one set of rules for np and another for everyone else. it's not illegal to enter another realm, however any active gm will teleport you out.

it's not allowed to bugabuse, but you cant classify 'jumping from a hill to a wall' as a bugabuse when all you do, is press the damn jump button. at svasud u can get to the roof by JUST running forward if u know the spot.

I've seen a ss from US where some hib guild entered midgard by brute forcing their way in, simply by numbers and run as hell... the gm said 'nice work' or something, and then said 'but I have to move you out of here' .. he also directly said its not illegal but its not an intended feature to let enemies roam inside other realms.

Jumping through a hole is exploiting a fault in the level design - it's forbidden, whether or not you have to do 3 backflips and a spin or just running forward. Brute forcing your way through is another matter.

rules dont solve/fit every issue
rules make you having to let emotions go last (good & bad)
rules make ppl cruel and hard (good & bad)
rules are ment to be followed (good & bad)

If they allowed properly organised raids into enemy realms the game would probably be more exciting anyhow.

Stack loads more guards at the border keeps and then taking keeps removes guards from it much the same way as at the relics.

Sure have, love it. I don't think they're silly rules, if you do you should appeal to have them changed, I agree that in this aspect a game company is much more inflexible then when you say play a boardgame, but to think it's ok to break just because you personally consider it silly is SO fatal for the greater of things.

Rules can't be broken, if they are silly rules work to have them changed. That IS all.
