He's not according to latest reports. Still not official, but Walnut, Jonhson, Bent and Baines all confirmed as out through their families, clubs or agents.

So much for Capello and Gerard saying he's been the bees knees in training!!

He probably has mate, the problem is SWP and Lennon have more experience, and have obviously trained very well too.

You know he will become a regular if he continues putting in great performances for man shitty.

Capello's done very little wrong so far, and I don't think we should turn on him unless we dramatically flop.

edit://

1525: Sky sources are now claiming they have all seven. They think Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Scott Parker will join Leighton Baines, Adam Johnson, Theo Walcott and Darren Bent in missing out.

Aye, every other tournament I've backed them to win :p silly English pride, I think I am building myself up for a fall.

I just can't picture Lennon or SWP being involved in a world cup winning team.

I also wish John "the proudest Englishamn ever" Terry would shut his fuckign trap. I want him to do his talking on the pitch to avoid being shoulder rolled by a 5 foot Jap!!!! He should be shamed into keepnig his trap shut.

Case in point: Greece :D

No, because everyone of the greek players considered the team above and beyond themselves. The majority of the England team are the other way around.

We can't retain possesion and control games, also being the only nation in the world without any players who have a left foot gives the defending team an easy task, there is only so many angles they can utilise going forward, which is why Barry is so important for us because he can turn defenders the other way with his passing.

If we're relying on Barry, we're fucked.

ENGLAND'S 2010 WORLD CUP SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Joe Hart, David James, Robert Green.
Defenders: Jamie Carragher, Ashley Cole, Rio Ferdinand, Glen Johnson, Ledley King, John Terry, Matthew Upson, Stephen Warnock
Midfielders: Gareth Barry, Michael Carrick, Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Forwards: Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Emile Heskey, Wayne Rooney

Of those, in my opinion, the following will have absolutely no positive impact: James, Warnock, Upson, Carragher, Carrick, Cole, SWP, Defoe, Heskey.

Still quite annoyed he didn't give some players a real chance or even a chance at all.

Who will play on the left? Has anybody amongst them played on the left wing this season?

Oh well, it's almost time to quit moaning and start supporting :p

Capello has went against everything he sold us when he got employed, he is no longer picking players based on club form and appearances. So now the big time charlies have nothing to fear anymore about losing their places.

Fucking balls.

Joe cole on the left maybe, i hope he doesnt play gerrard there. I agree with testing other players tho. A few more friendlies wouldnt have hurt, to give the others a run about. Ive always thought warnock was good enough even in his blackburn days, seeing him play everyfew weeks. Rivals ashley cole imo, who just gets in as hes playing for chelsea.

Cheer up everyone, that is still a fucking nice squad on paper. We have a solid back four, a great midfield (maybe lacking a bit on the left but we have players that can do a job there) and Rooney up front. It was never going to be perfectly balanced but it isn't bad. With some luck along the way we can hopefully get past the quarters and then who knows.

Thats been going on ever since Heskey was playing more for England than he was for Villa.

You are surely taking the piss? He is a good back up left back, but Wayne Bridge was the best 2nd choice.

Ashley Cole is rightly regarding as one of the best left backs in the world. He does not get in just because he plays for Chelsea, he gets in because he performs consistently well and is a huge attacking threat.

i think warnock has got the potentional to be just as good, he is a solid left back and can play left midfield as he often did at blackburn. I just feel that hes as good as cole or bridge.

He's already 28 and not getting any better. And to be honest Ashley Cole is a class above both him and Bridge... in footballing ability ;)

Is that the weakest set of Forwards ever to grace an international tournament for England?

Capello should be looking at Mexico's squad - 5 midfielders and EIGHT forwards :D

Surprised Carrick got in over huddlestone, thought he was poor over the season and poor in the friendlies.

think Baines must have known he was out after getting rings run round him in the Mexico game, and Walcotts going to be better prepared for 2012/2014. just not enough about his game for this world cup.

Everyone bashes Heskey, but he just fits the TEAM shape for England. He hold the ball up well and can be strong and aggressive, its just a real shame he hasnt got any form for goal scoring atm. But last 10 England games Rooney and Heskey, Rooneys scored 9. Last 10 England games Rooney without Heskey Rooneys scored 2. So I'd take him just to muscle space for Rooney/midfield.

Whilst I think Ashley Cole is the best left back in England by a country mile -- Wayne Bridge second best?! No way! He completed no crosses in 2009/2010 despite playing in a top five team with world class forwards to aim at.

Wayne Bridge is abysmal.

That said I'm not sure Warnock is ready for international football. Six minutes against Jamaica two years ago does not a World Cup left back make.

Dropping Adam Johnson was a massive mistake imo, I think Capello is going to regret that pretty quickly.

Recently the whole england squad practised penalties. They were given 3 each. Guess who was the only english player to score all 3?

Adam Johnson :D

Can't believe Johnson hasn't been given a spot, it's just fucking stupid. we actually have two players who can use their left foot and they both play in the same position LEFT BACK!!

Gerard out on the left no doubt, please god give us a manager/coach who actually knows how to get the best out of the players he has.

Here's to watching lennon and SWP bomb to the byline and hit row z.

But when crouch plays instead of Heskey, Rooney doesn't need to score all the goals because Crouchinho gets them :D

Well Hopefully our next manager for world cup will pick players that deserve and chance, and replaces the lazy gits that's done feck all for the country and get the spot purely because of who they are.

Although hopefully by next world cup alot of our players might be too old to be considerd for the team.

I can understand baines not being first team, but dropping him for someone with less than 10mins internation experiance is stupid, no natural left footer in midfield, picking an unfit midfielder (going against his own words now) and still picking that useless shit heskey upfront, id be suprised if we got out of the group stage tbh.
