Another example of how 10 seconds looking at a video would save all this trouble lol.

i think the scary news is that capello said he wont resign, and i dont blame him if hes getting another 6mil for doing nothing for a year. I also assume the FA will have to compensate him if they end his contract, and i guess they didnt have some clause to say if he didnt do well, they can sack him free of charge.

Well done ze Germans. Took full advantage of some very amateur defending, dominated midfield. Lampards goal would have changed the game, but on balance, Germany deserved it.

Back to the drawing board.

With who though? There isn't a great deal of English talent coming through.

What Soze said, at under 21 level and below we do have some good players. Don't count at the current crop with a few changes for the Euro's too.

I also think that sacking Capello now or forcing him out would be wrong. He's had a horrible tournament, but he had a good qualifying campaign and I honestly think he'll learn lessons from this and improve the team given the chance. There was nothing he could do to plan for his best players simply not showing up.

None of the england players on the pitch deserve to wear the shirt again after today, cappello should walk, we cant play shit italian "football", it may work in the qualifiers against minnows but it doesnt work in tournaments.

what barry did for the third after tracking back challenging for the ball, losing and then giving up and jogging after the player when we had no players back sums up englands performance and the players at our disposal. guttless little rich kids.... turn out for city and all the glory hunting little shite supporters each week barry and collect your ££££££ from the arabs, you will be remembered as nothing like the rest of the squad

all the world cup is going to be remembered for is how fifa unreasonable dismissal of goal line or any form of technology has backfired with all the petty diving and cheating that has gone on in this supposed "fair play world cup". my love for football shrinks with each passing day

as for mexicos chance that i thought might have crossed the line, no replay and no mention of it afterwards despite it being a very good chance? what the hell is going on here fifa trying to avoid more embarssment?

Heard this a lot, it's bollocks about the money. A lot of the players in the Spanish and Italian leagues earn more. As for Barry, he was clearly unfit. Terry left him isolated, and he was done for pace. Tonight was entirely the fault of the defence, plus Lampard playing a more advanced role than previously and leaving all the mopping up to Barry, who was outnumbered.

and i guess they didnt have some clause .

there was a clause which would let either party leave at anytime basically.. they removed it days before the world cup the fucking idiots

Capello will not change formation, puts on heskey who never scores when we need 2 goals back etc etc and yet we cant get rid of him as will cost 18m +

why keep capello, taking 2 target men to the world cup and then playing the worst of the two that never scores any goals in every game and never giving the other a chance dispite his amazing form for england.... and then deciding he doesnt actually want to play a target man at all two games in which gave him zero choice of strikers

also his policy of picking players in form is absolute shite, ashley young and agbonlahor have been on fire this season but not given a chance, on what basis did he decide to take swp over walcott, ashley young or agbonlahor?

and good job sticking to the old england way of forcing player to play out of position in a strict ridgid formation instead of picking one that would get the most out of the players at our disposal

upson was clearly out of his depth today and should have been taken off, how could he leave the defense the same for the whole game when it was being torn apart i will never know

too many mistakes for a man on too much money, get a man in with some heart or promote stuart pearce, anything, but doesnt take away from the fact that none of the english players wanted it, all those fans that paid thier own money and time off work to go out there and support the team to watch a bunch of rich kids not give a shit. these players arnt in the real world, they have had money thrown at them since they can remember because of thier ability at football. they have no clue about the working class fans that pay thier wages week in week out and obviously couldnt give a toss about them, i broke more of a sweat sat watching the game than any of the players did playing

bollocks about the money? the money has destroyed the game because as i have skimmed over, the players from a young age are groomed with money etc etc to keep them at a club, poached etc etc...... they will never realise what a privileged life they lead to be playing football as a job.... no fan can relate to any player at the top level anymore, there is no working class hero, just a bunch of ponces like christiano ronaldo. something needs to be done before it is too late but i cant see it happening myself, its all about the money now, nothing else

give me football 20 years ago.

Giving Capello another chance is ridiculous. He's on however fucking many millions per year and look at what he's actually done to earn it. Beat a bunch of weaker countries in qualifiers? Wow. Although we didnt generally beat any equal or superior countries prior to the world cup.

He's made so many countless mistakes from selection to formations to substitions to playing style.

If you think he'll "learn lessons" you're a fucking tool. The lessons were shown to us in the Japan game, then the Mexico game. Then even more by the USA, then extragavently by fucking ALGERIA. Oh well, we beat Slovenia 1-0 in another weak, unbalanced performance before we finally play our first competitive game against good opposition under his reign.

Capello has to go and will.
He was quick enough to drop Green for one mistake.

Everything about this world cup was shite and we seem to be in some mass denial, from tired old underperformers to a totally unfunny fat twat cringing his way through that after match show.

All he had to do was stick to his own rules of Only fit and on Form players. Rooney,Gerrard,Barry,Heskey at the very least should have stayed at home and Terry should have stayed as captain. We need to stop letting the press and offfield events dictate what happens on the pitch.

Hart
A.cole Dawson Terry A.Johnson
Milner lampard A.Young
J.Cole
Defoe Bent

Imo that would have been a better team even tho not all players would be on ideal sides, but then was our current team in ideal postions ?

Are you fucking joking? Terry has been fucking gobbing for the whole tournament. Don't tell me justbecause he threw himself at the ball in a last ditch tackle that should not be happening against a team from Slovenia that he gets away with being shit.

His position yesterday for the first and second goal was absolute shit and he looked like he was running in sand for 90 minutes, old slow, and very poor positional playsignal the end of JT for me!!!

We need to start feeding through players like Michael Johnson who actually know how to play football, because as it stands we are one of the only countries in the world who can't actually play it.

No passion, no effort, no movement on or off the ball. Bad decisions made on and off the pitch by coaches and players. I mean come on Lampard was taking a free kick the whole world know he's going to shoot, why do we have to have 8 england lpayers ahead of him?

Give Roy Hodgson the job!!!!

I also though Terry was fairly crap he has a great Defensive partner at Chel$ki who helps him look good with an average guy beside him Terry also looks average.
