It looks like the system is set up to report goal or no goal every time the ball goes anywhere near the line. In this case not too helpful and as you say a bit cruel. Commentator not got a clue though.

As the commentator said, whoever is in charge of deciding which replays to show is rubbish. There were loads of dodgy decisions that they didn't show the replay of in the first few games.
