Chances are no, i wouldnt.

Reason? Because this place has died and the community is getting small(er), i wouldnt have renewed the last time but Game renewed it anyway so that was a bonus i suppose.

I would only renew if i *needed* too, but i doubt i will because i download very little game files, and the ones i do download are usually for CS but they aint even up on the FTP so again it would be a waste.

Nobody plays on the servers, and before someone goes on saying "well you got to be on there to find out" is bs.. ive known myself and others to sit on servers for up to 30mins during good times and nobody shows up, after a while you tend to get bored totally and give up the chase.

I use bygames now for my CS, i dont tend to use their forums much but the fun is there when playing games, which is what i want.

Anyway... thats about it for now..

Will, this method of linking up Half Life and its mods. Is it limited to HL because of something proprietry in the Half Life code? Or is it limited because no one's written a similar control mod for other games?

I've been away, but basically my idea involves a server-side mod, and reserved slots, but there would be a tiny client-side config change to make...however, I know how to make it virtually automatic with an installer, and could use the website interface to despatch the goodies.

It works in HL because it is so configurable, ironically probably the reason the game has been plagued with cheaters too.

I'm a bit tired, so I missed out that there are ways of making a timed system, but that is well beyond my techie skills...I've always been an ideas person, even says so on a profile I did for work recently.
