Rimmer, chillout. ( Oops did I say rimmer, I meant toht ).

Also - Can we get a full list of participants? I'm probably going to vote switch to any inactives/superlowpostcounters.

I haven't been called Rimmer in ages, that brings back memories. Ah, the ties back at Wonder Peak.

I believe the list of our townsfolk is at the city hall(first page).

Mere curiosity really, plus when your sat around not doing much, you generally respond quickly into enquiries.

Fair enough sir. Though, i don't see how one could answers anything if they are not around.

Our most inactive players are Levin, Golena, and Calo. One post each.

Though we should kill Toht just for posting far too much and making this thread a chore to read. ;)

I'm somewhat inclined to agree with Will about Random mentioning the sheriff thing. Sounds like a nice subtle way to indicate that he's one? Still, it's devilry because what if he actually IS the sheriff? Coward as he may be as in hiding and all .. maybe better keep him alive then?

Also, those advocating a no lynch.. whatn'the... hell are you guys trying to achieve with that? We won't know ANYTHING more on day two if we do that! Bandits kill someone else, and we have nothing to base anything on? It's easy to talk dirt and cheaply around here on day one if everyone knows nobody's gonna hang! If anything I bet we'd be more misinformed than on day one!

So, all those voting nolynch... you got my eye on your sirs! Now looking at things from that perspective i'm inclined to agree with good Mr. ECA here. Downanael seems a skulky type indeed.

Vote: Downanael

Oh and one more thing! Just because some of us don't ramble on days at end doesn't mean we're sitting 'around on our porches doing nothing. It just means we have honest daytime work that needs done! *peers at Uara* Then again if by now we have someone who's not said a word, I'd definately agree by raising an eyebrow.

I really don't think the sheriff is gonna do something like that. What does he have to win with saying he's the sheriff? he could be lynched on the first night now.

Dunno bout a nolynch, it hasn't really worked out in previous games.
There's just nothing to go on now so i hate it to vote now. pretty much random but i guess thats for everyone here.

Voting on downanael now would be a cheap shot so im gonna wait and see how it develops.

Bandits! be afraid!! we will burn you!

My problem with nolynch is that its an easy vote to not give any info away, as Downanael has done just the odd post and then a nolynch vote.

I'm not sure why its a "cheap shot"? Protecting your own calo?

But that's just the thing. He didn't really say it as much as hinted it, if even that! If he'd gone straight and said "I am the sheriff" i would agree with you.

Aren't you contradicting yourself here, or did i misunderstand? First you say nolynch doesn't work, and then you say you hate to vote now? Hmm, I probably do misunderstand the last bit but.. would just like to be sure what you're trying to say.

I do indeed have honest daytime work. But fortunately my boss is ill at the moment, meaning I can appear to be doing work when I'm actually considering this dastardly deed and how we can discover the culprit.

However until more evidence rears its head towards who could be the bandits, I think i'm going to stick with the No-Lynch vote. I dont want to join in a witch-hunt when there's no solid reason for the person that is targetted.

I think the solid reason is digging up actions and reactions. :) But yes, I know that many townsfolk think like you do, so I've become less rabid about suspecting you no-lynchers than I used to be. I still don't have to agree with the logic though!

nono, i agree that a nolynch on first day doesn't help us townfolk, we won't get any wiser but otherwise, i still hate to vote, i just hate day 1!
nothing to go on with and i don't like random voting. BUT, its still better then no vote at all.

True, but we are at least twice as likely to hit a bandit as the sherif, unless there is more than one sherif in this town.
Mrs.Olga might have been a women, but overpowered like that by 1 bandit? No way, had to be at least 2 of them!
Also, my vote gave me some of what I wanted it to give me, and to avoid the bandits quick-jumping the opinion and forcing a no lynch;

I am not the sheriff, I merely wanted clarification on this supposed sheriffs laws, its always the best to say on the right side of the law in the west, lynchin doesnt give you parole.

I may be losing my wits in my old age an all, but I do believe that young master Levin protests to much bout not hanging. He makes an argument a vile gunslinging theif would, there is always a reason to vote nolynch, and you learn something from every vote.

There's a difference between sleeping and working young man. Some of us don't spend all day sitting round here at the saloon getting drunk and making random accusations. Surely it would make more sense to spend the day looking for where the gold might be hidden, since that's bound to give us some valuable clues as to who stole it. I've known many members of this town for many years and i'd like not to simply string one of them up for no reason. That's the kind of thing that's going to destroy this town!

I'd hardly call not posting for 24 hours innactive, especially since after my post there was 5 following posts before I went to sleep and i'm posting as soon as getting home.

I think you are wrong, good sir.

If everyone is actually trying to get a no vote, it means that the bandits are free to use whatever mindbending tactics they wish to lead us astray. I still think we'd be off worse then than we are on this first day. That's my opinion and if you wish to hang me for it sir, that is your perogative! I've always stood by my opinions and i'm not intending to change that now.

Well if thats the case, im safe, my face is as smooth as a baby's bottom. My fair lady doesn't like kissing me when I've got a moustache or beardy bits.

We seem to have got a bit stuck here. Most people have voted, though Toht, Calo and Jimmy haven't decided anything yet. Maybe we should all state why we've chosen who we voted for, and why, and see if we can reach some sort of consensus.

I've voted for RandomBastard, since his question about the sherrif was a bit suspicious. I'm also suspicious of Downanael, since he was quick to jump on the no lynch bandwagon once it appeared, in the suspicious (to my mind) third voting position.

I haven't honestly voted for i'm confused as a bumblebee in a flowershop.

Some "why him" arguments, clear and short, would be nice?

I'm mostly very undecicive unless i see some really weird things going on. And on this day, i just haven't seen anything that sticks out. Apologies if i'm little help.

Not to sound rude, and i know it would be a very unreasonable way to decide, but people who want to kill another townmember on such flimsy reasons as *lifts fingers* "he woke me up" *lowers fingers* seem like a very dangerous element, even if totally innocent.

*looks at Rubric*

Any other reasons, or is that your final judgement sir?

If we hung people for just waking us up, I think I would have hung a fairly large percentage of my family. I went with a no-lynch as I had no idea where to look as there is no clear sign of who it could be at this apparent moment in time. Although I think im going to remove my No-Lynch vote just for the moment.

However on the other hand there have been some suspicious points like Will said RandomBastards asking of the sheriff question, but as its the first game im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, as its best to have a clear understanding of lawman in this here town and Rubric's random accusation to Levin. Apart from that there doesn't seem to be much else.

Tough to decide between voting the douchebags or voting inactives, but decided that getting rid of inactives will be more helpful at this point

Jimmy and Golena both only have two posts so I tossed a coin.
