why soloing is impossible

was playing my m8s merc today.. its rr2, went out solo after i found out that i can finally duo log.. ran around in hadrians wall, got a couple of fights.. but got leeched every time, so not much rps for me
anyway.. after like 20 min, the hibs started coming, and after this last time, the lamest ive ever seen.. i just cba to even try anymore, the druid saw me just outside beno, he rooted me.. called his grp, they came after like 20 sec.. so they send in their tanks and start stunning and nuking.. the tank could have killed me himself.. i was rr2 and he gave me malice debuff first blow -.-
its like it has allways been.. hibs ruin the game
should make a sorc.. very fotm and op and can kill mane at once.. but then you would just whine about me playing sorc

Nothing but nothing has come as close to ruining this game for as many people as the warlock class.
People have taken the time and effort to level and equip the classes/chars they loved, accepting that they will not 'pwn' every person they come across in RvR, and still enjoyed the game, hoping that one day mythic would give their class a lil loving and instead mythic created a class that even the thane TL tried to get nerfed after seeing how stupidly OP'ed it was in the catacombs beta.

Having said that good luck in your ongoing quest to find a comparable replacement class for your pre-nerf warlock, I think you are in for a long frustrating and hopefully futile journey.

tbh.. yes, the warlock was insanely OP, i had only been killed by one warlock before i made mine, and i made it after the first nerf.. i didnt know it was going to be that OP actually, i lvl'd it from 1, i loved it, i got toa.. that doesnt count? suppose just melee rangers with their insane dmg that can kill almost all tanks are just ok.. i mean, stealth and insane melee dmg + bow ability just sucks? like i said, dont play my warlock anymore.. going back to alb.. maybe hib sometimes too just to be able to kill something.. you dont even need a good grp in hib to kill 2 fg albs/mids
wont lvl that gimpy bainshee though.. folksam trygghetsgaranti in ebony hand
finishing my temp on heretic, getting a friar, ML on both, etc.. it will take some time (not long anymore though )

it has happened to me many, many times too.. just cba to live with it.. fg hibs killing you everywhere you go, and they are supposed to be underpopulated? LOL there are alot more hibs than both albs and mids in rvr afaik.. (not albs and mids together)

get a Merc with uber TOA template. IP+AOM+Empty Mind III among other things (requires RR´s) and you can wreak havoc to most things in game. and having fun while you do it
Som+spec af+Cl resists versus meleers and EM of d00m vs casters.

tried a RR11 Berserker on US with EM3 Charge Det etc. Nothing could farm that guy ever

i dont think you been playing hib that much from what im reading.
Or you are just in a very good set group or you just very bitter cause the hibs been killing you more then any other realm hehe
No random group in hib kills anything more easely then any random group from another realm. But it seems the grass is always greener on the other side. You will notice that ur warloc is the most op alt you will ever play i would say. Anything else you play will require more skill and a little more thinking

there is no way you could spend an entire career with a char soloing exclusively...no sir...cant be done.

what you need is a friend, heck, grab 2. get yerself a few SL items, maybe a friend with some sort of AoE pulse to pop some soloers, and hey presto! RPs are doable, christ, if you took THREE friends I reckon you might even manage to all stay alive while you kill, sorry farm the soloers (oh wait you cant solo..erm), ofc, you would have to make sure you didnt trip and fall on yer own sword..taxing..i know, but maybe we could get you a rubber one to make sure?

made 120k or so rps on my warrior solo the past few days and wouldnt say solo is impossible at all. just takes a lot of patience when roaming around most of alb/hib. My horse is becoming rather usefull atleast

Soloing isn't impossible - you just need to be stubborn as hell to not let the bastards grind you down :>

An ex-guildee took out his SB for a few runs tonight, and after about an hour, he PM'd me and said "Sod this, time to get the Warlock out" to which I replied simply "Easymode :>" and he said "Oh yes :>".

The game has got to the stage where it is very unforgiving though. There are a LOT of high RR people out there, and if you have a new toon, expect to die a LOT :/ But eventually life becomes better, you get some essential RA's, hit RR5+ and every class starts to become a joy to play.

And then a FG steamrolls you
