was playing my m8s merc today.. its rr2, went out solo after i found out that i can finally duo log.. ran around in hadrians wall, got a couple of fights.. but got leeched every time, so not much rps for me
anyway.. after like 20 min, the hibs started coming, and after this last time, the lamest ive ever seen.. i just cba to even try anymore, the druid saw me just outside beno, he rooted me.. called his grp, they came after like 20 sec.. so they send in their tanks and start stunning and nuking.. the tank could have killed me himself.. i was rr2 and he gave me malice debuff first blow -.-
its like it has allways been.. hibs ruin the game
should make a sorc.. very fotm and op and can kill mane at once.. but then you would just whine about me playing sorc

i have a m8 who still plays hes warlock and pwns evrything still.
he just respecced a bit. ofc its harder to kill becouse u acctually have to use like 2 chambers and 2 UIs to kill someting (zomg)

and now ur returning to alb and trying to play a merc.... and u cant insta pwn enything... suxx heh ?

Hmmm - where to start :> Well firstly, I am solo, so you can't moan at that And people can't whine too much about buffbot resists as they also have access to buffbots and champ line resists.

Then I look at /rw.
My top vacation spots are:
1. Home tower on fire near a port
2. Instaport location
3. Boat from Bled docks to Beno
4. Hibland if I really have to

Then usually I am on my way to bled docks, and will take a little tour of bled drop off to see if there are any enemy to fight.
Then if not much action is happening I jump on a boat to Beno, where I'm sure Albs can back me up that I like to roam in Beno or on Beno bridges (agramon one or the 2 other ones). Many albs feed on me here :>

My BB's live at vindsaul and never move. Unlike some people who drag them to a tower and enable DI in Albland / Hibland.

So, I don't actually "base camp". I like to roam and hunt and look for kills, preferably in quieter areas where 1on1 is available, but I'll take the fights wherever they are!

So if you want to whine about having to travel to find a fight - fair enough, hibs seem a bit unlucky in that they don't often have instaports. But if you want to whine about the way I play, and not get your facts straight - then stop talking crap :>

soloing is impossible tbh, game just doesnt allow someone to solo at all.

there is no way you could spend an entire career with a char soloing exclusively...no sir...cant be done.

what you need is a friend, heck, grab 2. get yerself a few SL items, maybe a friend with some sort of AoE pulse to pop some soloers, and hey presto! RPs are doable, christ, if you took THREE friends I reckon you might even manage to all stay alive while you kill, sorry farm the soloers (oh wait you cant solo..erm), ofc, you would have to make sure you didnt trip and fall on yer own sword..taxing..i know, but maybe we could get you a rubber one to make sure?

i do have some friends that play.. but their parents dont let them play all the time.. and they have a rl why do you nrrd a rl when you have daoc?

merc is a very good 1-1 char if used good.....
i got my first solo kill when i was over 3L3 i think(really hard at low RR to get solo kills) now im under RR5 and at 130-150 solo kills and that with a Valewalker wich normally is the food for nearly every other class, so play your class and learn from your failitures..

not my fault i got leeched and zerged all the time though
merc is a really good solo char.. but you need some rr's, got attacked a few times.. once by a sb.. would have survived solo, but a damn sorc came and leeched -.-
then a rr7 bard attacked me.. could have taken him too.. but a crappy scout starts shooting him and he runs away.. no rps there :<
so.. less leeching less zerging = much better rvr for everyone.. not that i cant get grps, just fun solo when you actually get a good fight

Yup soloing is about patcience. You get good days and you get bad days, but i still enjoy it, and preety much soloe'd my way up the RR's.

At first yeh it quite hard, but just have to adapt to it. And with new rp changes shouldn't be to hard before people gain RR's.
