it all depends on the rvr climate. when its bad the game is utterly unplayable u wonder why u even bother. when its good its a great laugh and keeps you hooked and interested.

so true tryed all evning whit my nontoad rr2 warrior met 1 alb stealther that was quite high rr (lion knight i think)compared to me anyway,then 1 hib inside eras when i was unbuffed and a vamp that ran after 40 sekunds rest of the time i got abused fare into the ground by loads of Nightshades and fgs :touch:

Yup, like one day I logged in and dinged RR8 and was like.. now it's easy-mode - far from it, and we all start somewhere. Since retired my reaver leveled a NS, becuase when I eventually get to RvR, I can pick my fights - from soloing to relatively high RR on a visual and to learn over-time how to cope with the fact you don't the option to pick your fights, really stands out as a luxury in my view. The new rp system I witnessed for the first time today - was just testing wasnt really wanting to RvR, but to me seems a bit too much, I had renna jump me - I was about to Viper>Levi ('Cos I don't have slam), and then some sorc in rogs came along and nuked him down - the sorc started nuking at 95%, and I still got 450 rps - Sweet! - The fight was totally ruined though, sorry Renna!

its alot easier with stealther to hide from others ofc, if your not a stealther and go solo alot.. you get killed all the time by fg's and zergs.. should make a stealther myself

im not being funny oli but you still only "solo" 2000 units away from your buffbot. I joked with you that one day we would fight away from leet corner bleed, but we never ever, because thats the only place u rvr (unless you got irvr port where u can park bb in berk or summin). How is solo hard if you just gonna base camp. You get zergged, you release, you buff up and your back. its a different kettle of fish from a hib perspective beause you spend about 1/3 of your evening travelling on a boat to arrive and get zergged down and basically you cba to come back.

Illu always has bb's parked at vindaloo and never in bled and 2000 units from the central room of the keep would be just outside the keep walls^^.
And actually stlong blue meenie can be found SOLO in nothern alb territory most times.

Warlocks killed all soloing. Couldnt go anywhere or you would get outskilled by 1, 2, 3 or more of 'em. Its irony at best its an retired Warlock goes whine about this, especially since he retired when WL's got nerfed.

I dont know where Illusb does RvR, but I hated fighting him before. 6-resist buffs made it impossible to beat him on my NS, simply because of the 'passive' AP2.4 he's running with. I dont know if he still does it, perhaps when he dies (when the resists run out?) he goes back to his buffbot to redo the resists aswell upon release?

Anyhow, besides the resist, he does solo, which is a hell of a lot better then quite a few other stealthers

i remember curseing in /gu after that fight was quite even as well at the time,though i am playing a bit gimped atm not been useing a proper temp last few days kinda funny being pierce spec useing blade weps, will make my armor for new temp soon.

1001 solo kills atm... and the rate this counter rises has really dropped much after patch....dont know if cause of adding or just more peeps rvr. Its sad tho


Also i think that they should reduce the rps/char when a some1 in a grp kills some1 without a grp, at least when more than one peeps of the grp have taken any kind of action versus the one that is ungrped.

was same with me today...was running with my merc at orions bridge...first i got a duod by worldshade and his rr3 m8...so i went back got attackt by same ppl again...killd worldshade and almost killd his rr3 m8...3:de time i went the duo grp hade become 4 stealthers vs 1 rr2 merc...how low can u get that u have to get more stealthers....so i guess that meens hib have restarted the stealth wars again...not even fun to run solo anymore...if u dont get pwnd by fgs u get pwnd by duos/trios...the fun of this game has been long gone now...even the PvP in WoW is alot more fun

Everyone gets zerged, you have to accept that other players have the right to kick your ass 8v1, it may not be fair, but it's their right to play the game as they see fit. You just have to persevere and enjoy the 1v1 fights you do get.

Also you really arent doing yourself any favours going solo at rr2 playing a visable class. I'm amazed there are any sub rr3 solo players in frontiers, you guys never heard of Leirvik? RR4 cap now and you get some great solo/small group fights

humm hard to go leirvik as lvl 50...wish i could...and i was lvling my merc when i lvld his artis so i went past leirvik...and same goes to all rr3 then...go leirvik until rr4 instead....i remeber before when ppl whined about getting zergd by fgs when there was alot of soloer out there...still its rather coward to trio a rr2 merc if u know u can take him solo


An all the low rr bds out there...sticking then strifeing around spamming lifetap...so much skill in playing

imo comparing a vamp on classic to how they are here doesnt count either.
Vamps are visable and suffer the same problems when roaming as all other visables so no idea what your problem is with them.

Its all about attitude; if you enter the frontier with the expectation to have many 1v1-figths you will get frustrated/disappointed. Its better to consider every 1v1-figth as a gift.

I soloed a couple of hours in NF last nigth and had a blast.

they have access to charge, IP, purge, all the best solo RA's, wrath of champions too.. if you want that..
they have heal over time, insane heat claw.. sick dmg with weapon.. what more is there to it? oh.. they have their own stealth lore
and evade+parry buff at once if your fotm spec.. AND weaponskill buff! they have alot of weapon skill without it tbh

people shoud have learned by now that you cant compare every class 1 vs 1...cause thats not how they made this game. many characters have abilities to fit into a group, not being able to stop every character they see 1 vs 1. It might be hard to accept...but thats how it is. Maybe they do make a game at some point which is more based upon solo fights. But my guess is people wouldnt apreciate that either....grass is always greener on other side, plus that i enjoy that you have all kinds of playstyles and numbers around you. makes this game as enjoyable as it is.
