How come infils get 2.5 spec points while sb's/ns's only get 2.2.

basically the answer to that is that infs get no abilities from just been an inf.... therefore they compansated with extra spec points... ns/sb get the shout and what not, may or may not be fair trade off but that the way it is

Erm what shout do sb's get?

SBs get 2h weap for free. NS get thier uber DD shouts . Thats why infils get 2.5xlvl.

Would rather trade 2h for 2.5 so higher specs would be easier. But that might just be me.

if you want 2.5 instead of 2h, roll an infil. if you want DD instead of 2.5 roll a NS. complaining about it, is not really going to help you.

oh, and i'm fairly sure that SBs get a HP boost as well, however small it may be. and they can be norse, with higher con. etc.

just play the one you like

hhe 2H sb dont have a shortage of spec points as they leave LA the hell alone.

Anyone rolling a 5 spec is screwed as they wont use 2H and they dont have th epoints to raise all 5 skills to even 2/3rds

what I like is that infils get too use a crossbow too which according to US boards was able to hit a caster in 50 epic armour for 350 without crit (obviously doesn't always hit that high, but still). Very nicely balanced

This must be the "Holy Crossbow of Kemor". Very rare drop. I had to kill Kemor at least 15 times to get one.

Seriously though, the most I've ever done with a crossbow is about 80 damage. Hardly formidable. Normally around 50 damage.

Fix every other class in DAoC first, then start thinking about assasins.

Wonder why so many are rolling assasins .. prolly cause they lack a real challange with their other chars
