Why hassle GOA?

Am I just completely missing the point?

What is the point of all these threads saying do this do that, nerf them give me this etc etc. whining for changes to GOA?

Mythic make the game we know what we are getting as they have done it in the US so why even bother asking GOA for something that isnt already out or coming out in the US?

This topic has been raised to many times and it allways degenerates to the usually flaming.

Generally tho, if you want something changed, go to the VNBoards and hope someone from mythic has a look at your thread and (eventho highly unlikely) actually takes down notes to look into it.

GOA are responsible for the Hardware, Mythic for the program.

Therefore if people need a game change then thats Mythic.

However, if people suffer a few LD's in a day, or a server is rolled back, that's GOA.

(The LD's are not always due to GOA, but that's what can start a few GOA flame threads)

GOA imho have done a good job compaired to mythic

for example- on pellinor i never saw 1 GM made event

on prydwen i have seen quite a few(about 4 or 5)

GOA started a few months behind mythic and we are only 2 patchs behind them

us is on 1.58 testing of 1.59 on pend

so in my math they are 4 patches ahead

by that time US will be on 1.59 probley

If you look at the time Daoc was released in the US and then when Daoc was released in Europe you will of course see that we in Europe are getting the patches faster then those in Us... Comparing current patches between Us and Europe are kinda silly as Daoc has run alot longer in Us then Europe.

Of course it would be nice if they could patch the english servers without having to wait for goa to translate them to french and german.. But as long we are getting the patches faster then US im happy
