Why are Albion constantly camping their TK?

Albion have at least 4FG (most definetly more)

Theres about 20 hibbies in Emain.

Not very many Midies

Albion wont leave there TK??????????

We try leaving them and going to MMG.

We try waiting at gate for them....

We try moving towards AMG and they just run back to TK???

I saw 1 FG of Hibbies chasing 2+ FG of albs who were fleeing to their TK.

Jesus, I could perhaps understand TK camping if you were an outnumbered realm, but FFS you have more people in Emain then us and middy put togther, but you aint even preparred to venture past AMG.

Respect to middy, they have been putting togther nice grp's and attacking/patrolling emain like it should be done....

Funny as fuck. Albion you are a strange bunch of nubbers....

If you aint preparred to die theres not much point in playing the game ffs. But this is all made worse by the huge amount of players you have today.....

most albs are scared little kids, they need the safty to know that they will most definitly win, not to forget 1 fg hibs will surly whipe out 2 fg of albs

All i can say is Mids started it

Several times i been camping mpk solo and there has been 1-2fg up there waiting for more forces, so annoying when a solo straddler (e.g. a skald) decides to leave pk, i wait till there is some distance, attack, he just mezzes me and calls for help
Not like minstrel has much chance vs a skald anyway.

I think alb realise there only strength is in numbers, soon all u will see is a zerg at the apk which comes out once a day

Honestly there are some things we have consider

1) Albion is the realm with more players?

A: Defenetly without a shade of doubt, but there is a crucial point in this question wich is: Is albion the bigest hardcore comunity? No defently not...
Ppl can't forget that alot of non hardcore players and roleplayers chose albion as they're main realm because of obvious factors. they chose albion more than any other realm if u look at the numbers... The ppl you see in emain/albioners are most probably ocasional players that don't make part of Albion hardcore. This players are obviusly less expirimented in what to do and more influented by other players that just run back without giving a fight...

Quite confuse the answer but i guess u can learn alot about albion there

2) Why flame albion?

A: I still want to know what's the realm that doesn't run to theyr pk if it's near... don't tell me mid hib or alb becaue it's not true! maybe your group doesn't but there comes question 1 again...

3) Mezers

A: Put AE mez in albion healers and see how much alb will own...
game is unbalanced? yeah nerf alb abit more!

And most of all don't forget rvr is mostly in hib... Hibs move in groupes when they travel between DL and Emain if the rvr was in HW you would see the same and the resould of camping HPK or MPK would be the same!

Sorcerers do have AE Mezz, but it's not (spit) insta and we only get cloth. Add to that Albion seem to have little to no idea how to deal with mezzing anyway. I've quite often mezzed almost full grps only to have ppl attack one on one and break the mezzes then get their asses instaed. The life of a Sorc is not a happy one, who wants to go RvR when you have little offensive power and a big KILL ME sign with your mez and cloth. But that's all in another thread somewhere....

Anyhoo.... on the matter of the majority of albs not knowing how to deal with mezzed enemies - yeah, it's absolutely true and it's dead sad really. The problem is, sorc is a rare class and surprisingly rarely actually manages to do any real mezzing. Thus Albs never actually have mezzed enemies to learn on

It's been seen many times enough with Albs trickling down to AMG 2 and 2, lambs to the slaughter, I'm sure it was very fun and all but you can't really flame people for wisening up. As AMG these days is so commonly camped by Hibs or Mids it's just common sense to not run down there head over heels. Could be more fun I agree, but it's just an adaptation to the playstyle of other realms.

Don't tell me you aren't zerging, last night it was apparently so overzerged in emain that several of you had to zerg into Odins too. Hibs in Odins (except Talivar) is a rare sight and when Crey and Cuth suddenly turn around and port to Mid, you know that there aint enough to farm in emain.

Albs had 2 FG at the most in the time you mentioned - occasionaly maybe another one ress sick. Did you get any RP'a after the first run at all? Most of us must have been killed recently, when you killed us again. I mean the ones who didn't leave to go play alts, while few new ones came to get their spanking. It was utterly immpossible to get past grannies - not even for a stealther.

So no idea how many mids were there - I saw 2 Sb's camping atk.

I think AMG needs renovation soon, judging from the amount of camping there. Usually it's Mids in the afternoon and Hibs in the evening. You were early today!!! I barely remeber how emain looks past AMG - did you feed my hamster?

Oh and why is it, when ever you run into me having a 1 on 1, you attack me and not my enemy?? Agaton is hard enuff, he don't need a 9 sec stun to help him!! At least have the decency to let the duel come to an end before you fry the survivor.

Its really not a RP issue... (rps dont mean to much to me, theres no point trying to compete in the RP race (unless you are umemplyed))

Its a tactical and gameplay whine.....

Strangly enough I expected Albion to start a flame war back, but reading the comments lots of you seem to agree and acknowledge the tactic... (which I guess is progress at the very least)

There a lot of comments about albs lack of AoE mezzing.. and the fact that sorcs are weak... My repsonse to that is to point out a particular sorc that knows how to play his class. Veesham is a hard target to kill.... I watch him sometimes at the AMG or keep stand offs... He never stays long close to the wall.... he constantly moves... darts in for a AOE mezz or the occasion DD kill and is gone b4 he attracts to much attention.... On top of that the times When I have shot him he is very tough to kill... he has specced his character well, he has high con and good slash resists which is the key for any sorc that dont wanna get dropped by archers....

Most other alb sorcs are very weak compared to veesham... and tactically they do not play their class well..... The key to victory in mass RvR is making sure your AoE mezzers perform well.... This is albions downfall...

However this is not a reason to camp the TK like you do...

for every 1 high lvl sorcerer in emain there are probably 3 high lvl bards/healers

chain/reinforced>cloth
insta heals>cloth
insta mez for healers>sorcs
speed for healers>speed for sorcs

and most of the time
length of mez for bards/healers>length of mez for sorcs

a very well played sorcerer is just about equivalent to a average bard/healer ... how many of those do each of the realms have? and omgffs plz take out insta AE mezzes and stuns they ruin the game (maybe that's cause albs don't have any good insta cc )

Errr, lol. You don't realise how rare good high level bards are becoming these days. There are often about 3 grps sitting in dl with one slot left each prayin a bard may turn up, then givin up and fillin the last slot with that guy who's been shoutin lfg for the past 10 mins and heading off to emain to get ganked.

Yeah Bards are rare on the basis that every Hib group wants to have one. Sorcerers are rare on the basis that every alb army wants to have one. Not comparable.

To Censi's little post about Sorcerers equipment and skill: It's true all that you say but yet so... pointless. A Cloth Caster is inifintly easier to kill than a proper armor wearer and playing style may sway that somewhat but it remains a fact. No speccing or resists get around it. Old Veeshan was (if we use RP as a sign, wrong of course) one of the best Sorcerers in the game world-wide, is that what you want it to take? When all it takes a Hib and Mid CCer to press a button? Since you choose to camp AMG you can pretarget the milegate doors to to further reduce the reflexes required in landing a good mez.
