Last try at explaining why I'm almost through with RVR, take it or leave it.

Hibs used to run and occasionally still run in 1 and 2fg groups in emain. I've 90% of time been in emain in 1, 1+ shades or 2 fgs.
We perfected hit and run tactics, Albs are only now doing what we have been doing since probably May time. Right now however the current emain situe is untenable, marginal at the best, so after weeks of frustration most people have packed in rvring. Yes there is some blame apportioned to Hibs.

Unfortunately Albs do it differently. Whereas Hibs run a 1 or 2 fg through a zone, occasionally, very occasionally there's others there, Albs run 1-3 fgs in a zone crowded with 40-60 of their fellows.

All we end up doing is being scouted and led into a zerg of foes, every single day. Its obvious Albs are co-operating, especially as they are relic raiding from their emain force.

As to Cernos's point re Albs spoiling rvr, yes they have. A couple of months ago there was uber zergs of Albs both emain and Odin's. Caster army as we call them. They demolished everything in their path for the 14 rps of each kill and eventually Hibs started to play alts/retire or whatever. Only now are Albs running around like Hibs did, except we didn't have a sealed down zone, scouted in and out and 50 friends to fall back on if we were losing.

Granted some Albs in the early days ran in small groups without the zerg, but check duskwave and see how many rps I've got as a support class.

Until there's some sense I don't mind getting 0 rps / week, at least that way Albs won't be getting rp's, which is probably what this is all about.

Again, take your 2 fg to Hadrian or Odin, send me a pm on here, stating time and location and I'll see what I can muster.

Won't happen though will it.

As to Ottar's point, theres a hell of a lot more fun fighting Mids than Albs. Especially in Odin's, as there's a lot of good fights at HMG (hardest Mg in the game to pass due to the downhill slope) Bled Y, AMG or GG.

The key though is that there isn't 40 others within 10 secs speed 5 from them.

Wouldn't HDS be able to make just one 1fg of experienced hib players?

Our group(s) are usually out taking/retaking keeps.

sorry but that made me laugh, especially coming from an alb. So how do you kill a zerg? I've always wanted to know. They wouldnt tell me in the manual :(

This thread is kinda boring now... for months when we played Hibs were often mocked for not ever being seen in rvr.. then we got a few level 50's, came to emain and owned any mid/alb/patrol or anything that came nearby. 90% of my memories of rvr were of victories, and 90% of those victories were fighting against groups far larger than our own!

After a while alb got more and more level 50's, mid got more and more level 50's and while Hibernia also did it was at a much slower rate. Then the zergs started and a lot of us got bored, especially me, a few people started alts, a few left and a few just craft or do lots of epic/legion raids.

Hib/Pryd has got nothing to prove, when we bring equal numbers and varied/well balanced groups we often slaughter groups or enemies, often get slaughtered aswell, it's all fairly balanced. SOTL may well run in only 1 or 2 groups but it's the other 17 groups of albs that aren't SOTL that they just happen to be close to whenever there's rvr is the main problem. It's kinda like me saying I soloed legion, the other 60 hibs with me were just for company and backup.

How about we all shut up... you think hibs don't rvr, well we do, I don't remember the last time I did /who emain and had no matches. Imagine if all of hibernia decided that rvr just isn't much fun like I did, do you really think that whining and crying like children that you have no-one to kill is going to make them all come back?

It's a game, people play the game the way they want to, if they decide they don't enjoy certain aspects then they won't do those things, plain and simple.

This thread isnt about who "ownz" who is about sotl wanting some nice fights with hibs (and mids aswell)

And trust us, sotl hates it to when the rest of albs come to fight the same 1fg of hibs.

I personally prefer our fg vs 1-3 fg of opposing realm.
Even if we lose it will have been a nice challenging fights.
And we usually try to avoid the rest of the albs.

That's quite true Gombur, and I actually do believe you. Problem is, is that the rest of Albion figure following you is easy RP. Maybe give the rest of Albion a lecture, or all go /anon and go somewhere without telling the rest where.

Dunno. I got bored of RvR from all three sides. I'm one of those people that doesn't go to Emain regardless of which realm I play. It's nice that you guys come to Breifine. Good fights there sometimes.

Well we found the problem, Hibernia just needs Blejs to lead them.
Don't go back to mid!

Right... because it's the hibs that sit at their PK all day, and even get other hibs bitching at them for doing it... Right, no? hmm something is wrong with that... Oh yea, it's the albs that runs and don't stand and fight - oh well.

Vindici doesn't matte, because if we kill a zerg they bring one that's twice as huge 3 minutes later, on the next port.

Nice paradox Edlina.

We sit at our PK all day, but we also zerg all day?

emain was crowded so we went to odins instead, was incredibly boring, noone there at all, and I imagine HW being a bit the same, so untill something changes I'll stick to emain.
