Whats the point?

I have played this game on and off for 18 months now.
Played almost all classes and I still get the same feeling each time I meet the other realms.....

How can a game developer so TOTALLY unbalance the game?
In the old days it was hibs. Hibs mezzed, hibs pwnd and thats it.
Now its mids imo. zerkers running 2 hit droping ppl.
and yah, they get nerfed sure but then u have same FUCKERS playing there savages doing bloody more dmgs even.
How can soem guy sit there, design a character with 2,5k hp, heavy armour AND give him ability to totally own everything moving around him without even risking to die unless they get zerged?

Andyes I AM whining but I am so totally frustruated.
It almost doesnt mather what you play, how balanced you make your grp. Mid grp > Alb grp. Alb is the fucking gimped realm of them all and I was unlucky to random role dice and start there. So totally waste of time each time I sit at my bloody Pc and play the game I log of with the same feeling. Disgust.

I am sure each of you hibs and mids reading this post have some extremely clever reply to this. But then think again. Think it was you. Or what if albs quit? who the fuck you gonna run around and pwn? and seriously? whats the fucking FUN in it? I bet mr. 2 hit killer L33T Skill zerker having a good time running around in emain but I tell you............ if I saw the guy who designed zerkers and savages irl I would smack him around.

I know sorry about the 2,5k. Its just 2k. And unless they run around in there underwear they are heavy armoured. thoug they are dressed neither in cloth or leather.

they can do insane dmg but they get nerfed to oblivion in a few days and studded is the worst armor in the game exept cloth so relax

welllllll if that zerk is allowed to 2hit you maybe your group need to shape up, but i agree that savage is atleast as dangerous so the nerf is just temporary help

more like medium armour

As for the rest of what you said i cant even be bothered to argue, Zerkers have now been nerf, tone down, balanced what ever you want to call it as will other classes in the future.

it's slash sensitive and most tanks use slash and that make even leather better.

Having 3-4 zerkers rushing you assisting eachother it doesnt even help having a fat kid guarding you or pbt or hell even bof. You are DEAD. And having almost 1400 hp dont get me far either. Neither does top gear.
Besides, not much the grp can do standing there stunend either.

I really hate whining. I hardly even make a post here.
and if it wasnt for the huge amount of friends and wonderfull guild I would have maybe not quit but at least changed realm........but then again. I am stuck in the shit pile. Might as well live with it....

Oh and in the begining it was Sorc's and their 'overpowered' QC mez which brought about the introduction of insta cast CC spells to Midgard/Hib (well somthing like that).


Finally, its not Albion thats the problem its the attitudes of the people that play it. Not every person in Midgard can play to the standards of (to give the best example) Nolby, not every Mid group has a healer in it. So i suggest before you start opening your mouth and talking about how your going to physically hurt people you actually calm down and realise this is a game, if your not having fun then theres no point in playing it.

99% of all people on this forum already know and I would hazard a guess that ~70% don't care anymore.

Zerkers are going to be fixed/nerfed (depending on which realm you are in) so stop harping on about them.

I suspect that there isn't a single Mythic developer that reads this forum so aside from attracting flames this thread is totally pointless. If you want to stand a chance of having your voice heard then either post on the VN boards or send an e-mail to Sanya.

Of course, you would have to word your e-mail/post in a mature fashion because otherwise it will be deleted straight away. I would also suggest using grammatically correct english or it will end up in someone's trash can.

You can either accept the apparent imbalances in the game and hope that Mythic correct them at some point in the game or you can simply stop playing. Whining about it and expressing your desire to kill the guy who came up with the idea of the Zerker class is hardly productive.

having played both alb/mid excal and seeing the huge difference in class balance it does make me chuckle people from middy saying, "there not that powerful" or "look how (guild name) play and learn".

Ill bet no albion group can even go 1fg vs 1fg with nolby with all instas up, its simply not possible full stop.

Now I dont mean to insult you but you obviously havent put yourselves in the shoes of the other realms if you can make a statement like Clerics beeing gimped... Look at healers/shamans/druids they arent any better off...

And I know you dont die in 2 archer shots unless you stand around without armour....

hey looks like your the one needing a clue, i had both healer and cleric and the difference is huge, the healer totally eclipses the cleric for utility/surviveability(sp?).

Healers certainly arent gimped, they maybe could do with a little more in the way of the aug line but apart from that they are an all round excellent class, unlike a cleric who's smite line is totally out of balance for what the cleric is which is the realms primary healer.

Shaman are a solid class like friars, druids have the OPTION to spec for defensive CC and get ranged insta's, unlike the smite cleric which gets a small range pbaoe mezz on a 5 min timer lasting 30 seconds at 44 smite.
